ADB recently finished our basement. The job came in nearly on schedule, in spite of the difficulties due to the pandemic. The design team did a wonderful job figuring out what we wanted and making it happen. We are really pleased with the result. Excellent work and great communications with the Project Manager.

How would you rate your personal skills as a project manager? If you sign with ADB, prepare to pay a premium for their services and spend most of your time managing subcontractors, organizing the work, and doing the quality control. Oh, after about 6 months or so they'll get around to sending someone to your house to do the work, and may be able finish in 11 months. But the people they send will not read the plans, will show up when you least expect it, ask you to explain the work to them, and then do it wrong. Multiple times. Expect plenty of disruption, confusion, and no project management help

We contacted Active Design & Build to finish our basement. From day one they were professional and talked us through the process. The designer, Melissa, did a great job designing the project and offered great suggestions. Dustin was very responsive with any and all questions and handled managed the job with very little bother to us. The pandemic caused a little bit of a delay, but the project still came in on budget and on time. We are very happy with the finished project and would recommend ADB..

After interviewing a couple of companies, we decided to hire ADB because of their process, design, proposal, timeline, and general knowledge of projects like ours. Remodeling a house can be confusing and if your contractor is unorganized it can be a nightmare. We were happy with our decision. A couple of issues came up, but ADB handled it professionally & in a timely manner. Most importantly, we came in on budget. Thank you!

Active Design & Build did an excellent design and execution in our kitchen remodel which was a complete gut job to the studs with a new layout which now looks amazing, even refinished hardwood floors. I highly recommend them, I like the transparency of the process, costs, management of expectations, all the dust mitigation efforts, planned schedules and ultimately the fact that they are upstanding people who are accountable. ADB did a great job.

We had a wonderful experience with the team at Active Design & Build. They performed an extensive renovation of our 6 bed, 4 bath home in Denver that has original 1920's construction.
Going into the project we knew we had a reasonable budget to address many of the core issues. However, we were also prepared to face the reality that some items would need to remain out of scope and be addressed in the coming years as our finances permitted. Fortunately, the ADB team took great care in creating a project design that balanced our needs, wants, and budget to make our vision for our home a reality.

We recently completed a full remodel of our unfinished basement along with several renovation projects around the house with Active Design and we must say we are extremely satisfied with the results. The process from the first design meeting to completion was excellent and quality work. The design team and project managers came up with creative ideas to fit in everything on our wish list keeping in mind our budget. I have been in the construction business for over thirty years. I learned everything there is to know about residential construction. In all that time I have never seen a company more dedicated. Not only do they insist on top notch quality and care for there clients they care about the trades they use. They also have a schedule you can set your watch to. Military precision. It's like being on a winning team. I am proud to say that I'm on that team. I work as a subcontractor and would recommend anyone to contact them. For whatever the reason.
