Ecc chimney service Is you full service Chimney Specialists. As a Chimney Specialist we only provide the highest quality of work and materials making sure your chimney is safe to use. Keeping your Family safe is our top priority. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is the authority on fire, electrical, and building safety.
Also known as rain caps, chimney covers, fireplace caps, flue covers, or rain covers. Superior Chimney's professional grade chimney cap assemblies constitute a snow & rain cap, animal guard, spark arrester, and a wind inhibitor. Termination Assemblies (chimney covers) are essential in preserving fire worthiness and maintaining a safely utilized chimney.
Prefabricated (pipe) chimneys which are enclosed by a wooden or masonry chase need a chase cover to close off the top of the chase and exclude water and animals from the inside of the chimney. The chase cover slides down over the top of the chase much like the lid of a shoebox. The pipe chimney itself protrudes through a hole in the chase cover.
Also known as chimney reconstruction, brick chimney repairs, fireplace chimney repairs, partial chimney rebuilds, roof line up chimney rebuilds, or total chimney rebuilds. Cracking, water leaking, element exposure, usage, time, and lack of preventative maintenance render your chimney structurally vulnerable, inviting the need for fireplace chimney repairs, and/or requiring a chimney rebuild.
How often should I have my chimney swept? This a tougher question than it sounds. The simple answer is: The National Fire Protection Association Standard 211 says, Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents shall be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances. Cleaning, maintenance, and repairs shall be done if necessary.

Not much to say as I only had a chimney inspection done, however, the young man who arrived was timely, quite pleasant and quick to get up on the roof to complete the inspection. He was also very informative and was a good listener. I was impressed. Looking forward to meeting others from this company now. Thank you for the quick appointment and timely arrival.

Suet was left everywhere. I've had to clean the floors twice, and remove suet from everything in the living/family room, including couch, furniture and curtains, as well as an adjoining room. While I assume the cleaning was successful, we won't be using this service again.

Unbelievable. Human being answers the phone, answers my questions & makes appointment. I got a reminder the day before as well. They were available earlier, so they asked if I could see them earlier. Very good estimate and very good service. Work is also guaranteed for years. Highly recommend.

Called ECC Chimney Service for a repair & in less than 2 hours I had service people at my house for an estimate. In less than 2 more hours I had a completed estimate which was totally broken down. I thought the estimate was competitive so I hired then for the service which is scheduled for next week. Communication was great & very professional.

Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Chris came to do the initial inspection, then the chimney was cleaned a few weeks later. Turned out there was a squirrel nest that was partially blocking the chimney, but they took care of it, and put me at ease. Definitely recommend!

John just thoroughly cleaned my wood stove & chimney. Exceptional work, very courteous & respectful of my personal property. No mess left behind when the job was completed. I have had Chris McGovern @ ECC Chimney Service clean my wood stove for the 4 years since I've purchased my home. Always a satisfied customer & would highly recommend for Wood Stove issues. Chris installed the cap on my chimney the 1st year I bought my home & did an excellent job. I have had no issues whatsoever.

Wow....seeing all the recent great reviews I wonder if our calls have just gone in to the black hole. My husband has called twice and each time was told that the owner would get back to him. We really want to support local but if we can't get a return call then we might need to go somewhere else.
UPDATE 1-13-2021: We were contacted immediately after my post and a they apologized for not getting back to us. Communication has been fantastic since then with emails and text msg. They came today to replace the pipe that goes from our wood furnace to the chimney. They did a great job and were very respectful
