Juanita's House Cleaning was founded by Juanita Umana in the late 1980's. She was joined by her son, Sergio Umana, who had always been part of the business, but came on board full time in 2014. We wanted to schedule a regular cleaning service with S & J. This required us to do first a deep cleaning visit. I was surprised by the unprofessionalism for their very first deep clean visit. The first visit cost us 9+ man-hours @45$/hour for a typical moderate-sized house. In the end, there were many surfaces left dusty, countertops not wiped clean. Things were left disorganized (e.g. our Japanese floor seating mattress on top of the couch, dustbin on top of a desk in the kids room, and other stuff left in a disarray). Just arrived home to a very carefully and well-cleaned home. Sergio was responsive to my concerns about billing and has completely worked out the payment problems. Plus his training in computer science means we now receive automatic email reminders the night before. The service is still friendly and caring; they are even careful not to let my wily new kitten trick them into letting him out. Every business has its hiccups, but not many make good on them. S & J does!
