Foam density represents the strength and R-value or insulating factors of the covers. The denser or thicker the foam the stronger it is which increases the weight baring capacity of the spa cover. It also increases the Insulating properties. The general rule is this. For every.5 lb increased in density the spa cover's R-Value increases by 5 and the weight baring capacity is increased by about 20 lbs.
Since early this year there has been a significant increase in Freight Costs. Shipping rates are 1.5 to 2 times higher this year and continue to increase. While we are still offering free shipping to 36 states, we are forced to charge the following states a surcharge fee. Standard Production: 7.5 -8.5 weeks until a brand new cover ships out from our factory.
Florida Spa Covers offers Express Production and Delivery option. Place your order with expedited production and it will be built and leave our factory within 19 to 25 business days. Mixed feelings about purchase - I ordered an In-Stock cover and at the time of order (12/1/2021) the web site stated specifically "Ships Within 5 Days Guaranteed". This was a major factor in my purchase as my old cover was in two pieces. Five business days came and went with no shipment being made, although charges hit my credit card in less than 3 business days on 12/4/2021. When I inquired on 12/15/21 I was told the new ship date was between 12/15/21 and 12/21/21, but they were very willing to cancel my order (and charge me $150). I challenged them on the 5 Day Guarantee and requested some form

My order number is 23446 and was placed on 4-6-2021. YOU HAVE NEVER REFUNDED MY MONEY AND HAVE NEVER RESPONDED TO EVEN ONE EMAIL DIRECTLY!!!!. The only time you respond is when given a bad review. I purchased my new cover from Florida Spa Covers. It was easy to order and much better than the cover that came with my hot tub. I upgraded to a marine fabric and a thickness that will stand up to harsh winters. I also added the hydraulic cover lift. Their customer service was easy to work with when I had a couple of questions. I’d buy from them again.

I got my new cover last week, It was delivered while I was on vacation, I did not get to see it until yesterday and I got to say the quality is good so far, we will see in the next couple of years how it does. The only concern I had was that they were hard to get ahold off, But when I did speak with someone they explained that they are short staffed and had material shortages which is understandable due to this whole Covid situation. All I can say is this, it took a little longer than expect it, but it was worth the wait!

This is my second time having to leave a one-star review in the past two weeks. My original negative review resulted in quick communication, which was appreciated, so I removed the rating. I was told my cover would ship early next week and that was on Sep 23. It is now Oct 4 and I have not had any communication or shipping updates since the last review and still no cover has been delivered. I ordered and paid in full June 16. I have sent multiple emails and have called several times. I understand you are short staffed, but can I please have a status on my delivery?

SCAM……. Ordered a cover in June and it’s nearly October. They say that it’s not in production yet but the only way I can get a refund is if they get to keep $150.00. Website said usually ships in 15 to 18 days and the agreement said 7 to 8 weeks. When I called they said it was changed first of September to 11 to 12 weeks but time has passed and they still want to keep $150.00 for nothing. Who knew breaking agreements was so profitable!!!

Should’ve read the reviews before ordering. Absolutely no response after the initial order- multiple emails and phone calls and zero response. Yet, shortly after I put in a case with PayPal, I see they’ve magically responded. They are alive and understand how to respond to messages! Well, glad I finally got your attention! Thankfully I got my money back. I don’t even know if this is a real company. Get your cover somewhere else.

I ordered a spa cover over 12 weeks ago. Over the past four weeks or so, I have emailed four times and called three, leaving a voicemail each time. I cannot get a response. I also cannot ask for a refund because the form they require does not allow you to put in a reason and when you submit it tells you to put in a reason.

One of the WORST company’s I have ever dealt with! The person who answers the phone claims he’s a manger and there’s no one else to talk to. He’s extremely rude, lies, and hardly ever answers the phone and never I mean NEVER returns calls!!!! It has been a nightmare since day one dealing with this “company”! After dealing with them for over 10 weeks and all of the lies we had our hot tub cover today which we refused to take it because the package and the cover itself was damaged!!!! Now trying to get into contact with them is yet another NIGHTMARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
