The staff at Florida Keys A/C is friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable. When I have had A/C issues and placed a call for service, my call is answered promptly and the service has been top notch. I have found the staff to be honest with their pricing and when appropriate will offer options for dealing with the issue at hand.
In our combined 40 years of service, we have found many reasons for air conditioning failure. The single biggest reason is lack of maintenance. As compared to a car that only runs while you are in the seat, an air conditioner in the Florida Keys runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, approximately 9 months of the year.

Hands down would recommend this AC company. They are long time locals who are dedicated to providing quality service to the middle & lower keys, which can be a feat in & of itself when the labor pool is severely limited! They have top quality technicians who pride themselves on high caliber service.
I have called them for CAC maintenance and mini split service & they have provided outstanding care and customer service each & every time.

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!
I live in a condo, where it is difficult to have roof access to check on my own A/C unit. Long story short, my building called these guys and found that a contactor ($12 dollar part) needed to be replaced, I was charged $297.00.
I called to see if it was a written mistake, and it was not. For them just to visit you if you live in a condo, you should seek somewhere else.

We called them to give us a bid for moving our air handler downstairs because it was so loud. John Murphy had one of his crew come out and turn the fan down and make some adjustments. They could easily have taken the job that we requested, but he gave us the inexpensive easy fix. The AC is plenty cool and it's nice and quiet now. Thanks John!

I just got a service agreement with them for an 18 year old unit in a vacation rental house. 13 days after the first service, the motor blows. They actually predicted that it was going to fail, but they buried it in service notes which were attached to a benign looking email. They never called. They never verbally communicated it to anyone. $575 to fix the motor on a unit that has to be replaced anyway. According to their owner Larry. They blamed it on the fact that they don't have enough employees. Not their fault. Now they will have one less customer to worry about.

Called Florida Keys Air Conditioning this morning when we noticed the air conditioner wasn't working. Lance came out and had it repaired by noon. This was my first experience with Florida Keys Air Conditioning and I couldn't be more pleased. Lance was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I will definitely call them the next time I need service on my AC.
