Dakota Carpentry was founded in 1980 by Delan Schmidt. It started as a prat time business that focused on small repair jobs and structures. The business grew through the years and by August of 2000, was incorporated and transformed into a full services company. Dakota Carpentry specializes in residential remodeling consisting of; decks, roofing, siding, windows, doors and additions of all sizes.
We did an extensive remodeling of our 1976 rambler in the spring of 2010. We chose Del as our general contractor as our daughter and neighbors had used him and were very pleased with his expertise. We needed upgrades to our electrical, windows, deck, light fixtures, flooring, wall coverings, kitchen counter and back splash.
