In 2012, I heard a story about this guy named Dan Wolt, who was apparently doing some amazing new things in the world of window replacement with his company, Zen Windows. But a lot of people were talking about Zen Windows, so I decided to dig a little deeper into how they operate. When I researched the company, my jaded remodeling brain had a third-degree malfunction.
Let's get real. When you contact a St. Paul/Minneapolis replacement window company for a quote, you want exactly one thing. Unfortunately, a lot of window companies won't provide it unless you agree to let them come to your home and listen to them drone on for two or three hours about how great their windows are.
Every replacement window company in Minneapolis and St. Paul says they have the best prices. But simple math tells you that 99% of those claims can't possibly be true. To make matters worse-and more confusing-some companies will SHOW you what seems like a low price. So how can you know if you are truly getting the best price?

Loved everything about Zen Windows! Very easy to work with, no pressure tactics. The owner Steve is amazing and treated me like I was his daughter. The installation crew was great, and Steve even came out after installation to check the work out and make sure it was perfect.
I will definitely be using them again if I ever move.

This was a great way to get windows replaced. Steve was helpful and knowledgeable. We just emailed each other until he came out to do the measurements. The installer came on time and was so careful of our home and my flowers while being friendly and giving us tips on cleaning and care.
The windows are so clear I wondered when I first walked in the room if there was glass there. Steve came back after the job was done and did a very thorough inspection. We are so pleased with the whole processes, we have already told three other people to go with Zen.

We studied a number of options for replacement windows before choosing Zen. Meeting and talking with Steve (owner) made the decision so clear. He provided us with both time and wisdom as we sorted through options. I never felt pressured - a relief after some of the other experiences we had. We decided on casement windows with installation completed this past week. Installation went quickly - all six windows replaced in one day while I was at work. Plus there was no clean-up for us. Window treatments returned to their respective places. No dust from their work. And the best part, the windows sparkled

I researched windows for a few years and got quotes from three companies. I started looking again and reading and found Zen Windows. I got in touch with Steve and he was very friendly and understood exactly what we needed. We ended up with 22 beautiful windows and patio door! Service was excellent and the installers were beyond professional! Steve was great, handled everything and the two installers were meticulous with their work.

We used Zen Windows after our neighbor had used them for their entire house. They spoke highly of them and we feel the same. Our basement windows were replaced and beautiful! The difference with them is night and day. The new windows add so much light to the area and are pretty look at. If you are looking for a no hassle sales pitch, straight and the point with the sales, measurement, and installation. Highly recommend and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Excellent! The estimate process was so much easier than listening to a 2 hour sales pitch in person. I sent Steve some pictures of my windows and he quoted me a price by email. They were very affordable compared to other quotes I had gotten. After going to his office to see the windows in person I decided to order them. Steve came out and took measurements and placed the order. It took about 6 weeks to get them. The two installers did an excellent job! They worked so hard and cleaned up everything so well. I couldn't be happier with the whole process. The windows are fabulous. They look beautiful

We replaced all of the windows in our house (casements, slider, and double-hung) with Zen Windows. That's 20+ windows, and we also had all of the window exteriors wrapped. I found Zen Windows after a lot of time on Google. So. Much. Research. Their process couldn't be easier. I liked that I could just email them my window measurements and they emailed me an estimate.
