We really like the folks at Cortez, but sadly, not their work. This was the most expensive expenditure on our new home, and has never been made right. Their attention to our actual needs was substandard right from the beginning, requiring revisions. Their quality selling point was that the iron is powder coated, but not if they have to revise it, then it is simply spray painted. Their crew left debris behind each time and didn't clean up well. We received verbal commitments that didn't go onto paper and then were not followed through on. The last revision still looks terrible and was never completed

Mr Cortez was recommended by a coworker. Mr Cortez personally came to the house to provide the estimate. I found a photo of an RV driveway gate design I liked on the internet and he duplicated it perfectly. When the gate was installed I could see instantly this was a high quality gate. Heavy duty dimensional iron, perfectly powder coated, installed with care and perfection. The installers obviously took pride in their work. Quick but meticulous, careful to make sure every detail was done right. The neighbors are already asking who made the beautiful gate!

Lucas Cortez was referred to me by a friend who is a contractor. We made the appointment and he came out to see what we wanted. I needed a long fence and two gates in an updated version of what I had. He gave me a price and took a small deposit. I was told 4 weeks but was suprised when called in 3 weeks to install . We scheduled a time. Lucas called me on his way to give me his ETA which was right on time. He showed up with two very clean and polite workers to help with the installation. This is a very professional clean and courteous company . The workmanship on my fence and gates was better than

Our driveway electric gate was damaged in the recent wind storms, I called Lucas Cortez @ Cortez Ornamental Iron, they scheduled an appointment and Lucas came out today as promised. As Lucas started the repair it began to rain, the temperature got cold and the wind started blowing - Lucas toughed it out, having to grind and weld parts, in those awful conditions, to complete the repair.. The gate is fixed and works great!! Thank you Lucas
