Hursh Painting Company, Inc. got its start in 1979 when founder Morris Hursh decided to put his skills and years of experience with a large painting contractor in Lancaster to work in his own business. Phil Hursh, son of Morris and Ruth Ann, has been an integral part of the business and became president of our company in 1999.
As a second-generation owner, Phil leads our company and serves as its president. He grew up learning the ins and outs of the family business from his father, Morris. With a passion for excellence and making a positive impact, Phil is thankful for the opportunity he has as a business owner to empower people and give back to our community.
Our purpose is to be the best painting and wallcovering contractor in our market area, not necessarily the largest. We have defined "best" as building a solid group of talented and quality-minded people, conducting business in a respectful and honest manner, while producing a finished product higher in quality than the industry standard.
