Todd Tindel, a freshman in a northwest Austin high school, started his business with a $25 garage sale lawn mower and grew his business throughout high school and college.

I was referred to Todd and his team by a good friend, and was also compelled by Todd's back story on Yelp. He and his team were as advertised - personable, professional, and responsive. The quality of work, and attention to detail during repairs was phenomenal. I had to have all the heads in my entire front yard raised to spray above the grass. I expected a disaster of dead grass spots all over my new yard. However, the care that Jeff took to spot remove, and carefully replace was truly spectacular. We've been using Cutting Edge for 7 months now and we love them! I requested a quote for a basic lawn mowing and flowerbed weed treatment. Also wanted boarders to be put in around the flowerbeds to stop the grass from creeping in. They have been great to work and we have gotten complements on our lawn from family and neighbors.

We hired Cutting Edge for most our yard maintenance ... cut, fertilize, beds, and more.
After engaging their service, I get a call telling me that they would be at my property to do a once yearly aeration on Thursday. I told him that was a bad day since I was having a concrete patio installed and there would be a construction crew on my property. He said that he could work around them. Knowing the extensive nature of the work, I told him that he needed to reschedule. He seemed frustrated and snapped back "Well, I guess we can delay it". Ugh! Don't give me push-back, just reschedule

Really appreciate how this company goes above and beyond! Hard workers who are rarely seen without a smile on their faces as well as extremely polite and engaged whenever I speak with them. They are very careful about closing the gate and making sure my little puppy is safe, as well as picking up any stray dog toys in the yard.

My lawn is the jewel of the neighborhood. I have dozens of shrubs and the crew keeps them looking great. They are courteous and very professional. I get confused on the schedule, sometimes its Monday, sometimes its Tuesday. During the recent rainfall, I got concerned that the crew would not cut the grass for two weeks. As a suggestion it would be nice if someone could text or even an email notification of when the crew is coming or set to come. Otherwise, I have to call and check, which as a year round customer should for over four years should not have to do.

I just called to ask about having a yard mowed in a rental property and a new property that I will be owning this on a third of an acre. The man that you answer the phone asked if I was looking for a one time service for an annual service. I said both. When I started to talk about the rental property he said that does not fit their business model. I said that's too bad because I will be moving into a brand-new house on the third of an acre and pick up me off before I could ever finish telling him that because you were so eager to tell me that their business model. I have been using Cutting Edge since 2012 upon my neighbor's recommendation and couldn't be happier. They do a fantastic job on my yard. I've also had them fix my fence posts, check and fix my water sprinkler system and mulch the flowerbeds. They also worked on a section of my yard so that I could have a vegetable garden. They have also planted two very nice trees that are thriving well and they did some major landscaping last year that is even more beautiful this year. Short version: They are no longer our lawn service company.
Long version: The luster wore off quickly. I had them over to do irrigation repair, but the bill that arrived was twice what I was quoted. I paid it and moved on.
We also paid for weeding, fertilizing and pruning we didn't receive, and they continued to charge us for that for months. They also want to charge year-round, and this is something I missed in the paperwork when I signed up.
They damaged quite a few things over the summer, they did fix most of them, but it took multiple calls and emails and there were many excuses
