When your property goes solar, not only does your utility bill decrease, any excess power you don't use will be fed into the grid, dialing your usage meter backwards. As for cost stabilization: your on-site solar energy production will ensure that you lock in savings for the next 25-30 years whether you purchase the system or opt for a power purchase agreement (PPA).
Rooftops aren't just for cover anymore. A solar array could be saving you money or generating income. Find out what large REITs like Prologis have already already discovered: solar is a financial and sustainable win for any structure.
Federal incentives like the ITC (26% tax credit) and state incentives like commercial solar energy grants can be realized at the time of installation, while Solar Renewable Energy Credits (sRECs) continue to generate revenue as you produce. At the same time, you're generating clean power and offsetting metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

Services
To design and construct commercial solar energy systems by fulfilling customer needs, providing substantial savings while maintaining the original aesthetic integrity. With each solar installation, we are helping to build a sustainable energy infrastructure for a healthier planet. Aurora has been installing solar equipment since 1994, back when a majority of solar installations were thermal hot water units.
The physical evaluation prior to commercial solar installation ranges from an initial visual inspection to more detailed topographical, geological and structural analysis, depending on the type of installation we are performing. Roof mounted solar typically requires thorough measurements for accurate design.
While more detailed plans will follow, at this stage all parties review and approve the basic placement of solar modules and plans for interconnection to the electrical grid. This stage in commercial solar design helps set expectations about the final form the installation will take. More detailed design work follows.
At this point, the design is set, the plans are filed, and the permits are approved. A pre-construction meeting with facility staff followed by construction deployment at the site happens during this phase of the project. As materials are delivered for installation, a temporary staging area is often designated for easy access as they are needed throughout the construction of the array.
Once your solar array has received final approvals & has been officially turned on, we will show facility staff what the components are, how they operate and function as part of the complete system. Rapid shutdown switches and system disconnections for your PV array will be reviewed. An Operations Manual containing details of all system components, warranty information, and equipment registration documents will be included as well.

Aurora installed a 17 kw system on our roof during the summer of 2016. I started working with Aurora in the Spring of 2016. I was considering another company as well, so there were several months of questions and answers and updated proposals. I decided to use Aurora since I like the SunPower modules, the fact that Aurora was a local company that had been installing solar panels for many years, plus their excellent reviews.
Aurora provided excellent communication during the entire installation phase (that took a little longer than expected, due to the excessive heat). I would like to provide extra

In 2007, Aurora installed 24 solar panels on our roof. Aurora was knowledgeable, efficient, thorough — they did an excellent job. Since the panels were installed 8 years ago, we have paid only the fee for the connection to the grid and the electric company has paid us for the excess electricity that has been returned to the grid each year.

We ordered a system in early April, had it installed early June. In July BGE finally finished all of their approvals and installed the net meter. Aurora was very easy to work with throughout and informative about all of the current incentives (30% Federal Tax credit, $1000 Maryland grant, SREC's). They employ their own installers and did a great job, very professional. My system has worked great so far. My July and August electric bills were negative, of course I know in the winter I will still have a big bill, but 8 months out of the year I should be break even or better.

So, I asked these guys to come out and look at my building to see if I can get solar installed. They seemed eager at the start, but after the visit I could never reach them again. I called and left voicemails and emailed them, but no response! I guess they don't want my business, but at least have the courtesy to say they can't do the job. They might do a good job, but they have to start it first.
