As our customer, you rely on us for safe and effective sewer service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our goal is to accomplish our mission to protect public health and the environment by efficiently and effectively collecting sewage for our community, while maintaining our vision of setting the bar for essential sewage collection services.
We keep our finger on the pulse of how well we are serving our customers, meeting their expectations, and fulfilling our mission. In talking with our customers and stakeholders, we have identified seven core service levels that are particularly important to-and clearly affect-our customers. Simply put, these levels measure the aspects of our service that customers care about most.
At SASD, we stay laser-focused on keeping the sewer system in good working order so our customers can count on reliable sewer service. We closely monitor the condition of our system. Sometimes, we're investigating a reported sewer problem, while other times we are completing maintenance or inspections that prevent problems from occurring.
It's important to understand which part of the sewer system is a customer's responsibility and which part is SASD's responsibility. SASD owns, operates, and maintains a network of 4,500 miles of main line and lower lateral pipes within a 270 square-mile area. However, there are certain sections of the sewer pipes that our customers are responsible for maintaining.

Electric vehicle chargers on site (3x Level 2 Chargepoint chargers) 20 miles added/hour. They charge less than most other for profit chargers ($1.32/2 hours; 60¢/1 hour vs Walgreens who charged me 35¢ for just 12 minutes!). I fell asleep charging lol. If the nearby county chargers are taken, this is a good alternative. I'm a little confused as to why they charge anything being that this is a municipal building but whatever. Very easy to locate, they're to the right of the roundabout. I was here on the weekend so no problem with availability, however on weekdays most of these stations are occupied
