JH Strain Carpentry
JH Strain Cartpentry's first major contract was to remodel the Petty Officers' Club at the Philadelphia Naval Yard for the Navy's Bi-Centennial in 1975. From then to now, we've been involved with historic restoration, new and not so new homes, and major renovations. Currenty 40% of our work is done for developers, while the rest of our time is spent with private home owners, and custom builders.

Our company is a husband and wife team with years of experience in hundreds of homes. We enjoy working with people to develope the design best suited to their lifestyles. We are very capable of coming up with modern, classic, and traditional styles, as well as craftsman and colonial. Our goal is to provide a solid, well crafted job that we can take pride in and that our clients will be proud to have!
Services
A desire to provide a flawless job is fundamental to our business. With over 30 years of residential experience, we'll guarantee you'll get workmanship of the highest caliber. Dress-up moldings such as crown molding, cornices, coffered ceilings, chair rails, various wainescoating, baseboards and window trims can all be added within your design.
The work was excellent! This contractor worked with my schedule and made every attempt to accommodate our ability to be in the home during the work. Professional approach to all aspects of the work and Joe and his staff are not only very pleasant but extremely polite. There was additional long standing rain damage to our floor which he discovered and repaired.

Although they haven't done any work yet, I can tell you that Joe and Andrea are an outstanding couple. They absolutely have a genuine interest in your project when providing an estimate.
