NCM is committed to sustainable design and construction. Our LEED Accredited Professionals work with owners, contractors, designers, green building consultants, and material suppliers for construction document review, material procurement, scheduling and logistics to analyze the LEED rating system and maximize LEED points.
East Ridge High School is one of a trio of "Super Schools" that NCM Constructed between 2006 and 2008. The School, located between Woodbury and Cottage Grove, MN, will opened in 2009. The project contained almost 4,000 cy of concrete in the footings and exposed poured walls that range up to 18' in height.
NCM is very proud to have participated in one of the largest and the newest NFL stadium projects to date. Our scope of work on the one billion dollar project included 410,000 masonry blocks dispersed across 8 levels and 6 masonry stair shafts each 140 feet tall! With an average crew size of 30 workers, NCM successfully completed their scope of work within 18 months.
Northland's performance on the masonry at US Bank Stadium was exceptional. Their attention to safety, quality and schedule on a fast track, complex, difficult job was second to none! This program includes; pre-employment drug screening, daily pre-task planning and stretching, certified forklift training, scaffold competent person training, an A.W.A.I.R. program, hiring orientation, respirator and return-to-work programs, CPR & 1st aid and OSHA-10 Construction Outreach training for our Foremen, and annual company wide safety meetings.We are recognized by OSHA and the AGC for excellence in safety as a member of the C.H.A.S.E.
