Rather than buying low quality from big box stores only to be dumped in a landfill. Her daughter, Alex, runs the store- She has passion for creating a feeling of "home". Having lived out of the country she knows how challenging it can be to move to a new place, and how important it is to make your new surroundings warm and comfortable.

Services
The best way to shop at Humboldt Furniture is well. It's not uncommon for pieces to sell the day they arrive - so we encourage you to stop in frequently. We update this several times a week, so if you can't come in it's a good way to at least get a feel of what we have. If you see something online or driving by that you simply can't live without, give us a call and you can pay over the phone.

I just bought a new home and was looking for some used furniture pieces. I literally looked everywhere but mostly found some pretty heavily used cheap built pieces. I ended up at Humboldt Furniture and found some great pieces and excellent quality. The pricing was a little high but the pieces were well worth it. They delivered which was even better. I will definitely be back again when looking for something great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great selection of high-quality used furniture with helpful and friendly staff (who don't pester you while you are browsing). Their Instagram page (linked from their Facebook page) is constantly updated with new photos and prices, but I recommend swinging by the store to get a good look at everything.
If you're on a really tight budget, check out the local thrift stores (Angels of Hope, The Hospice Store). But if you want higher quality items (such as those made with solid wood instead of pressboard) at prices 50-80% below similar items at furniture stores, Humboldt Furniture is your best local

A few classic items in good condition but mostly really over priced for used furniture. Can buy some like items new at discount furniture stores in eureka for same or better price. The girl behind the counter was busy talking to her friend and never even asked if I was looking for anything specific. Overall really disappointing experience. I'm surprised because people have said nice things about this place. I wouldn't recommend.
