All of our lead products are Union fabricated and installed. Employees are trained in all aspects of OSHA lead standards, including industrial and lead safety. J & S Metals, Inc. provides the highest quality, most cost effective lead products and services in the industry. All of our products are made with quality, chemically pure, grade C lead.
Scope: Provided and installed 159,000 lbs. of interlocking lead brick and one swinging neutron door/frame and operator. Scope: Provide and install 144,000 # lead brick and steel supports in Linear Accelerator vault. Fabricate and install a Neutron door/frame/operator. Scope: Fabrication and installation of lead lined sheet rock, lead viewing glass and lead lined telescoping window frame.
All of J & S Metals lead products are pure, Grade C lead that meet and exceed Federal Specification and Standards. Type X is typical unless otherwise indicated on Lead Protection Schedule or corresponding physicist report. 3.0 wide lead battens are provided for lapping at joints. Lead tabs are provided for 2.5# (1/24) lead lined sheet rock and thicker.
