Artistic Outdoor Lighting was started with the concept of bringing the artistic aspect of the landscape lighting business back to the forefront of the industry. Founder, Mike Potucek, noticed that most of the industry was filled with franchise lighting companies who pumped out mediocre- to poor-quality fixtures through franchise owners with little or no artistic talent or experience.
Your lighting will come on automatically at sunset and turn off at your preferred time without needing adjustment throughout the year. We install an astronomic timer which uses your geographic location to determine dusk and dawn times as well as automatically adjusting for Daylight Savings time changes.
So excited to finally get some light on our house. It went from dark and creepy to WOW! We heard from multiple neighbors who not only said it looked nice, but thanked us for improving their view! Mike was wonderful to work with. He showed up on time, and the job was above our expectations at completion.

Mike and team recently completed a project on both our back and front yards and we could not be happier. The property feels instantly upgraded and we love using our backyard space even more now with the combo of up and down lighting on trees, patio, and fireplace. We'll definitely come to Artistic Outdoor Lighting again if (when) we add some more to the front!

Mike is truly a light artist and so very talented. He comes out to your house to show you a display and it is a great way for you to see what you will be getting. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! We learned that there is such a skill that is needed as to where to put the lights to get the best results. Just finished our outdoor lighting project with Artistic Outdoor Lighting. Mike took his time to review our yard layout and offered suggestions on lighting positions based on what we were looking for. We had to re-schedule the installation day due to late snow and Mike made sure that they came back as soon as the snow melted.
The final result was good looking lights surrounding our house for reasonable cost. Mike added 2 extra lights over what was quoted for free to ensure symmetry and proper light coverage. I highly recommend Artistic Outdoor Lighting for your yard lighting needs!

The owner Mike might be the hardest working and dedicated guy in the lighting business, and the result is a great customer experience. He was at our house for the quote setting up lighting for the demo, discussing the proposal, and on-site for the work. We installed 33 fixtures on several trees and walkways. Their products are high quality. Pricing is competitive and much more reasonable than other companies. We're very pleased with the system and overall process. We used Artistic Outdoor Lighting to replace some accent lighting in our back yard and pool area. This included path and area fixtures.
Mike was great, especially coming out after dark to show us what the lighting would look like. That is what sold me.
Mike and his people showed up on time, and did a nice clean job in a timely fashion. We are very please with the project. Every night we look out at the lighting system and comment on how we are glad we did this.

We are a repeat customer very happy with the work we had done last fall. You will see a 5 star rating from us on the previous work in October, 2019. At the time, we broke down the project into to two (front and back). It's now time to complete the project. In March 2020, we shifted our attention to the side and back of our home. We live on a small lake and so we enjoy spending the majority of our time relaxing outdoors and lakeside. The new landscape lighting provides such a beautiful accent as well as great security too.
