Bob Wines Camellia Gardens & Nursery in Ocala, FL, has a long history and deep passion for gardening. Our family-owned business started when our founder, Bob Sr., turned his hobby of gardening and interest in Camellias into a business. In the 1950s, Bob Sr. traveled all over the U.S. finding and learning about camellias.
He collected thousands of different plants and used those to start his own business in 1952. Many local parks and businesses still have a lot of flowers he started, and many of his original plants are growing all throughout Florida and Georgia, allowing his legacy to live on.
In the 1970s, the business was passed down a generation and was expanded into what it is today, five acres of land full of Camellias and other flowers, plants, trees, and shrubs. Our extensive experience and history in the industry allow us to provide expert advice and recommendations on how to create your own backyard garden complete with amazingly beautiful flowers and plants.

Love! A great place to see beautiful plants on display. The selection is amazing, 18 plants mix n match on a tray, for 19.99, the pricey but extremely magnificent and in-between. Everything they sell is top notch. The camellias , a few different varieties, it seems, go sale priced @ 12.99, have buds on and look healthy. They also take donations for the homeless, I love that aspect as well. A truly beautiful walk through 6 acres.

Seen your advertisements/ sales on Facebook many many times, finally went and visited last weekend and bought 6 Confederate Jasmine plants and 2 gardenias. It was an amazing price for everything the plants were beautiful, healthy and I was just blown away by how much of a variety and amazingly beautiful plants that you have there. Definitely will be coming back and will be a customer for life! Thank you! 🌱🌺🌻🥰❤️

I love coming here to just wander through the Camellia gardens. They have hundreds of varieties of camellias on display, planted underneath the tall pines, as well as for sale. Hundreds if not close to a thousand! These beauties are well taken care of and the staff seem to always be there when you need help carrying a plant or have a question about soil pH, propagation, grafting, or landscaping help. As an American Camellia Society member, I highly recommend this nursery. Here are some photos from today's trip! :)
