Quartzite, is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock which was originally pure quartz sandstone. Sandstone is converted into quartzite through heating and pressure usually related to tectonic compression within orogenic belts. Quartzite is a decorative stone and may be used to cover walls, as roofing tiles, as flooring, and stairsteps.

Bruna was wonderful to work with….very helpful and intuitive! We encountered a problem with our countertops, but Continental was quick to fix it and the employees gave great detail to making sure we were happy with the finished product. I also thought they had a great variety of choices for stone, and the pricing was very reasonable.

We were very satisfied with the complete process of replacing our countertops using Continental Stone Marble and Granite. The sales person was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a good selection of granite right at there facility. We were happy to hear that we only pay for the granite we use. There is no charge if an additional slab is used. The "template" measurement process was high-tech with a laser and tri-pod. He was very accommodating to our personal technical requests. Finally, the installation went very smoothly and right on time. I recommend this company to anyone looking for new

We were so impressed with Continental Stone - owner, staff, installers - all 100% professional, knowledgeable, courteous and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it! No rescheduling, no issues. They were respective of any concerns we had regarding our granite counter, and we ended up completely satisfied with their work, their prices and their product. We will go back to them immediately when ready to do our bathrooms. Wholeheartedly recommend.

On July 21, 2020 we had granite countertops put in our kitchen from Continental stone. They did a phenomenal job!! Very professional and easy to work with. I worked with Carol in the office to coordinate and choice the perfect granite for our kitchen. She also went above and beyond to help me. After going to many places looking for granite and finding it at a wholesaler we then had to find a place to install it. We found Continental Stone Marble & Granite by just happening to be in their vicinity. We told them where we found the granite and they had no problem working with them. Our salesperson there was Bruna and we told her of our concerns and our timeline. She was more than happy to work with our schedule and our needs. Super snobby sales team. Unless you’re looking for a full kitchens worth. Eye rolling, big sighs, arrogant presumptive tone. I had a customer whom had a piece of granite that was sentimental to them that they wanted to make a vanity top and needed the square top mount sink hole cut in it. I was also in the process of installing a brand new kitchen… for which she was going to need counter tops. I still can’t decide if the $750+ price to cut a sink hole was a buzz off price or the ridiculously high pricing. When I told her the price she scoffed and was no longer interested in continental
