Doug at Nor'Easter Carpentry is a magician when it comes to repairing old homes and dealing with crooked lines and making things level. I have worked with Doug when flipping houses. He has helped me design renovations, raise a roof and put in dormers, replace windows, install/replace doors, install click flooring, install kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities and more. He is reliable, on-time, honest, and does good quality work. I am continuing to work Nor'Easter Carpentry and will on every house I work on.

I wanted a flight of stairs built for an existing deck. I messaged my point of contact back and forth [not sure of his name] about coming by for an on-site estimate. We set a time and date on a weekend I was available, but he forgot and had plans camping instead. So he came by during the work week while I was at work and wrote up a quote and emailed it to me. They requested $1100 deposit for $1900 set of stairs. After looking at the quote, and asking follow-on questions, I pointed out that the quote was in violation of some building code and sent him the building code requirements. This project

Doug completed six projects for us, and I couldn't be happier with his work! He looks for cost effective solutions, tells you exactly how much it will cost, does great work and is tidy in the house. Doug is also a very nice person and is a pleasure to have around the home. He's dog friendly, too. I have an old lab, who is slow to move, and he was lovely with her. He's become our go to guy for all of our jobs!
