Looking for summer work, a young Jim took to washing windows around the neighborhood to make a little money. Being the clever guy he is- he realized an opportunity for steady referral business: He introduced himself to the local glass shops around the neighborhood. As the workload increased, he started hiring his friends so he could take on more jobs.
Donovan Glass has been proudly serving Tarrytown, NY with professional glass fabrication, installation, and repair/replacement since 1983. Our friendly and personalized service is performed quickly yet with great care given to even the smallest details- so it's done right the first time. From mirrors to shower doors, windows and screens to tables and desks, cabinets, storm doors.
With our experience and expertise, all you need is an idea or vision of what you want and we'll get it done- on time, within your budget, and you can trust it is done RIGHT. With the rise in popularity of sites like Instagram and Pinterest, we've had clients that provide a photo of what they want and we make it for them!

Their Shop is fully stocked and capable of making any glass or mirror repairs. From lead stained glass to modern thermal pane sealed systems-
they can do it all. Replaced a complex beveled mirror "exactly" and would not let me mistakenly overpay him.
They seasonally decorate their shop storefront with the most amazing Halloween, toys, Christmas ornaments

This morning I had an emergency situation that needed to be dealt very quickly on my china cabinet. I, truly, couldn't believe how fast they were able to send someone. The pricing couldn't have been more fair and he was very supportive and friendly. The final product- of course beautiful and as if nothing ever happened. Thank you so much!
