Love this business! My family has done business here for years and have always been treated amazingly! Everyone here is always so helpful and friendly. Whenever I need to buy gifts I come here. They have super cute decorations and home decor as well as candles! My parents also bought their fireplace and hot tub here and had great service throughout the buying process and installation!

Very disappointed with this company. We purchased 2 pellet stoves fo our vacation rentals from them, because we wanted a company that would service them when there was any issues. They are terrible at answering the phone, or returning your call. They always tell us it will be at least a month before they can service your stove, and they just don't seem to care.

Made a mistake in giving this local business a second chance. Had been in the store several months ago and neither woman would leave their desks to wait on us. Finally left the store after we realized that they didn't care about our business. Even though we had read all of the negative reviews, we decided to give them a second chance as they are a local business and we find it very important to support the local businesses. This family owned business is a gem! I am remodeling my house in BV and needed a new gas fireplace, so I decided to try Salida Stove & Spa. I had an absolutely wonderful experience! I was greeted right away and toured their extensive showroom. It helped me feel confident in my purchase because I could see all of their products along with the features offered. It was evident they are very knowledgeable about their products and instillation. It took about one hour to pick my fireplace and determine the right design. I couldn't be happier with this establishment

Really wished I had read these Google reviews before I even walked in the store because pretty much what everyone has written over and over again in these reviews is true. Extremely rude woman working behind the counter and very poor customer service that includes failure to return emails or phone calls and charging for items that may or may not be used to install a wood stove. My first time in the store I witnessed her get snarky with two other customers and should have been our first warning to steer clear.

I cannot attest to the quality of their installed products, but Mary Mother of God, do they have an unhelpful and downright rude staff. Went there on 06/29 to inquire about having someone come out to look at a problematic gas fireplace in my house. Staff at counter immediately became defensive and quickly let me know they did not install the unit and they will absolutely not service anything they did not install. Rude, rude,rude. Paid $500. for a chair. Yet, not allowed to use restroom. Salesperson was rude and unhelpful from the time we walked in the door. Owner also rude. No one offered to help us load. (we are older, retired). Chair is overpriced. Bought an exact same one from another place same day and only came here because the first place didn't have another matching one. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Wish I read BBB reviews before purchasing fireplace as others have had issues with this company. Sold us and installed a fireplace that did not work at all. It took many frustrating calls and ten months before they came to attempt to get it working. It worked briefly but as soon as they left, it began exhibiting problems. There customer service is pretty poor. We went in to buy some outdoor furniture and it seems like they don’t want to sell anything to you. We walked around for 15 minutes looking at the outdoor furniture but not one person would acknowledge that we existed. We walked in the store and still not one person that worked there acknowledged that we existed. Pretty poor customer service if you ask me. We had 3000 to spend in there but I guess our money wasn’t good enough for them.

This store is one of the best resources for designing a new home or remodeling a home. They have cool, fresh ideas for contemporary homes. I was drawn in by all the Adironack-style chairs and benches they have displayed outside the store, and loved the cool fireplaces, spas, and home decor items. Worth the drive. You can make your mountain home truly something special.

My husband and I stopped to look at there chairs, possibly to purchase a few for our home. We are from out is state. We walked in and the girl that was working did not give us the time of day. Was totally not interested in us at all. I will never step foot in there again, nor ever recommend them to anyone!

The first time, my husband was shopping for outdoor furniture and was treated very rudely by the older-middle aged woman (owner?) when he had questions. There is a hot tub shortage due to COVID and store was great at communicating best options and delivery. Store is professional and family run. We have a new-build home. Salida Stove and Spa refuses to warranty installation of the chimney stack. We have called many, many times to be told they are " too busy" to even inspect the issues.
We hired an independent person to go up on the roof and take photos as proof that there is an issue with installation.

Have been here 5-6 times and dealt with the owners directly each time.
Will start by saying I've had a couple halfway decent experiences. At times pleasant and friendly...especially him.
None of my visits were great however. They always seem a bit annoyed every time I'm there...but some visits were encouraging enough to spend $10kish with them, even though I found a local competitor. I regret not using him.
As far as future orders at Salida Stove and Spa...there will be none. If I were them I would think customers who are open to spending $10,000 are worth keeping and treating

Highly recommend Salida Stove & Spa! We bought a spa from them and absolutely love it. Loved doing business with a local family-owned company with great customer service. They are extremely knowledgable about the products they sell, which made the whole experience easy and worry-free. Their store is beautiful with so much to see, and the popcorn is YUM!

Today Colton and his fellow worker came to our house to explain and check out the problems we were having with our fire place and wood stove in our new home. Colton was very professional and explained and showed us the in and outs of how to work the fire places. They also added more pipe stacking and will change out the capping for better functioning of our fire places. Thank you Salida Stove for taking care of our needs. We are very happy with your work. Wonderful customer service! We initially started with an inquire about a stove. They were so helpful we ended up purchasing a Primo barbeque, two fireplaces and a Hotspring Spa. Customer service is horrible here. What a missed opportunity. As a business owner I inquired about a particular brand of spa when I needed a new one. They did not have this brand, but made no attempt at offering a different brand of equal quality in order to secure business. We have visited several times to buy supplies and the reception we get is that we are bothering them - not to mention the lack of knowledge of products and services for spas....
