Freedom Vans was founded on the f r e e d o m of the off grid lifestyle; and we are here to enable this lifestyle for our clients. We wish to give people the foundation for their adventures; an off grid home (permanent or secondary) that will allow you to comfortably relax after a day of skiing, a big bike ride, a challenging climb, or a stroll down the beach.
Our outfits are custom tailored to our clients needs. In our project gallery, you will see the ideas that we have brought to life. On each page, there are photos of our work, and a list of features that are incorporated in that van. Jeremy is finishing the paint on this unique ceiling for the 'DaLight Ship' van conversion.

Our shop is closed to walk ins. We would love to show you around, however our work requires a great deal of concentration and focus. We like to make time for you when we can really be present in the conversation! We offer hour long group shop visits on the second Friday of every month at 2pm. Email us to make your reservation!

Read this paragraph from the contract with Freedom Vans very carefully and then decide if you want to take “The Leap of Faith” and allow them to work on your van. If you don’t live in Bellingham you will be responsible for all of the workmanship and design issues to fix at your own expense. I have spent more than $6,000.00 on repairs. Make sure… you have a drawing with written dimensions. Not just a pretty computer graphic. Make sure you specify in writing all the hardware by name and manufacturer. Make sure your van is completely built to your specification’s before
