My wife and I love to be outside. We believe it is as much a part of our home as is the inside. I started this business with the idea that if families had a comfortable and beautiful space outside, they would enjoy the beauty of the outdoors as much as we do. LA Dream Builders has offered outstanding general contractor services for many years.

We want to simplify the process of using a general contractor in Baton Rouge by providing you with straightforward responses to some frequently asked questions. As a courtesy, we will call about 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the arranged time, just to make sure that the time still works for you and to let you know when to expect us to arrive.

were wonderful to work with. All workers consistently showed up on time. We replaced all floors except bedrooms with porcelain tile, had two bathrooms completely updated with custom showers, cabinets and quartzite . Granite countertops installed in kitchen. They were so diligent, left original countertops in place for our convenience until two days before new countertops installed. LED lights placed in kitchen and great room greatly enhanced lighting in rooms. Dirk met with us weekly. Any concerns we had, he immediately addressed. We were fortunate to witness

Working with Dirk and his team was such a smooth process. Dirk answered my call within the same day and was out inspecting my property within 2-3 days. I had lots of questions since this was my first porch I've ever had built and Drik remained patient with me the whole time. The process was around 1 month and we didn't mind! We payed for the porch in milestones (Project accepted, Materials built, Framing put up, railing, etc). We're so happy that we went with LA Dream Builders and cant wait to start using our porch on cooler days! :)

My contractor referred me to LA Dream Builders because I needed to have my porch re-done after the flood and he had seen Dirk's work around the city and was impressed. I called Dirk and he came out and explained all the parts of the process with me, and provided me a quote to provide to insurance. As a non-resident landlord on a rental property I have owned and loved for many years, it was important to find a reputable, licensed and insured contractor to rebuild the front and back porches with hand rail additions for safety. Dirk Doucet and his team at LA Dream Builders did an excellent job, which involved demolition of an existing structure, rebuilding the infrastructure and installing a new composite porch deck and railings.
