Cutting Edge Tree Service is a story of a classic American dream. We are a 100% locally built and family operated business. Owner Erik W.Tjossem, has ten years experience; first as a climber and then as a foreman/climber of a crew engaging in ALL aspects of tree work. He was taught by some of Humboldt's best including fourth generation Arborists and loggers (Thank you Rocky).
A Certified Arborist ensures the quality standards of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Such high standards in tree care were established through decades of science and research. Whenever we prune fruit trees bushes or shrubs we use the ISA's Strict Standards. Which improves the health of the tree and enhances it's natural aesthetic beauty and structure.
Tree work can dramatically increase the nominal and aesthetic values of a home or property. Considering some of our trees on the North Coast can live well over 500 years, we take a reverent approach to tree care; working carefully to protect the legacy we are leaving to our children. When tree work is not done properly; unhealthy, unsightly trees will be the result.
Cutting Edge Tree Service has been contracted to remove a 475 year old tree whose DBH is 6 feet around. Cutting Edge Tree Service was happy to lend a hand in the completion of this exciting exhibit. Cheyenne, an injured Bald Eagle was rescued by the Sequoia of Eureka Ca. The exhibit is nestled among massive Redwood trees.
