We had a great experience with this company. Technician didn't try to sell us something we didn't really need. Serviced our 1989 units and the cool air is still blowing. They were quick to get us an appt and they seem to always answer their phone and don't keep you waiting. My new system ROCKS! This is definitely a 5 star business and certainly not a three. Google Reviews places it a 4.7 with 338 reviews versus the paltry 19 here on Yelp. These guys will not cheat you or lie to you and will do quality work! I've used them multiple times now and it has always been a relatively cheap and easy fix. Certainly I got lucky with my repair needs, but the point is, they could have easily lied to me and made it seem like a bigger problem.

This company is the best yet, will definitely call back for service. Called yesterday afternoon and they came out very next day. Bart was at my door very nice, easy to talk to, friendly and answered any question I asked even if I asked it two or three times. The price was wayyyy!!!!! Less than I expected. So for all the amazing qualities I was provided with I’m giving all the stars in the google galaxy!

They came out to look at my A/C and said they'd come back to clean my coils. They never came back, so I hired a different company. They still charged me $75 to look at my unit even after several emails and phone calls gone unanswered. I would not recommend them.

We called Ellis Air for an after hour service, and these guys were quick to respond to our call. Within the hour we had a tech (Patrick A.)come and service our HVAC system. Not only was Patrick super helpful but he was very knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure our unit was properly cleaned and working as it should. I would deff recommend this company and Patrick to anyone in the area.

We needed the AC repaired for their house and Patrick provided stellar service in our their time of need. He came in a timely manner and was professional throughout the entire experience. Patrick was thorough in assessing the situation with the system, explaining it to us, and providing a literally cool solution. Pricing was good and the military discount was grateful. Had an appointment set up for first thing this morning. Last week, the gentleman said the tech would head this way as soon as they opened. it's 1.5 hours pass and when I call the Office im told it can be between 8-1pm. I had to cancel other things I needed done today to wait on someone. The job will take approximately 3-4 according to the gentleman I scheduled with. Very inconsiderate to tell someone one thing then change the times on the day of. I have little ones in school and my time to sit at home and wait for someone is limited.

We had a heat pump installed by Ellis 6 years ago and it worked fine. 5 plus years later the AC stopped working, come to find out it leaked all the freon out of the system. 16 lbs needed to be installed. I asked about the warranty, and t hey told me "unfortunately you did not register your AC with the manufacturer so no warranty" I was never told that I had to register the HVAC unit by the technician and on the invoice, all it says "upon registration".. nothing else. I had no idea I had to do it , there were no instructions to go out to the manufacturers website to register

Highly disappointed with these guys. I made an appointment last week to have someone come in yesterday and changed my schedule to make sure I was here but nobody showed up. I called and left a voicemail but didn't receive a call back. Considering everything going on I decided to give them another chance and called them again to speak to Mario about what happened. I was told they got busy and the workers were suppose to call to cancel/reschedule the appointment. That didn't happen. I made an appointment for today at 430 and again nothing. Called and was able to schedule someone to come replace my ductwork. Customer service was on point. My main issue is, the day that I was scheduled for them to come out they couldn't give me a timeframe on when they would be here. So basically I had to scrap my whole day and wait at home, they told me they would call me 15 minutes before they would arrive.

Terrible. I have a 10 year warranty but they didn't do their job to register it. I'm sorry, we weren't doing that back then, that was someone else's job (but not ours for our own system that we installed). This unit has had a repair every year since installation in 2014 and I have just had to pay for it I guess because no one ever checked the warranty registration. I'll be honest and say we've gotten to know the HVAC technicians really well over the past year. We've struggled with several different issues with this new system. Called Ellis Air Systems to set up an appt. to clean coils and charge refrigerant. I was told it would be the following morning and they would call prior to coming over. I stayed home to be here for service. After a few hours, I called to find out when they were coming, and I was told soon. The tech was finishing a job and would be right over. Six hours later at 4:00 I get a call from the tech and he says he'll be there in 30 min. He arrives and acts annoyed I wanted the coils cleaned which would take a few hours. I had an A/C installed and they did a great job. There was a few workers there and a couple of them were very nice and respectful, however there was one worker that was being extremely loud the entire time my house was being serviced. Towards the end, while one worker was installing my thermostat, another worker was loudly watching Facebook videos and kept exclaiming "Puta!", now I'm assuming he didnt know I understood what that meant, but I feel my home was disrespected. I called Ellis to fix a problem with my parents' air conditioner. I arranged with a very nice woman in the office for the caregiver to pay the bill and to call me after the work was finished. She wrote the instructions down incorrectly, so Jerry, in the office, called me for the payment. I told Jerry that there had been a misunderstanding and that he'd need to call my brother for payment since the caregiver hadn't been presented with the bill. He actually argued with me about getting the payment that minute, rather than having my brother call him with the payment. He was so rude

Should my trusty, reliable, 28-year old AC unit break down again, I will certainly call Ellis Air Systems

Called them because a/c wasn't cooling. They Called the next day in the am and said they call me back after another service call. So they call me back and Jason shows up, identifies the issue, (cable was cut by the weed-eater folks) and repaired it and installed PVC to prevent the problem from happening again. All under one hour for $50.00 great service. Will use them again.
