Shak was out to quote to repair my Maytag dryer that was squealing loudly while spinning on Labor Day. No extra charge for Labor Day holiday. Ordered parts and was back out to repair 2 days later. Repair and replacement of rollers and belts were completed in about 30 minutes. Shak was very knowledgeable and friendly. Called and talked with a a pleasant man who I explained exactly what was wrong with my older dryer. I explained that the heating element only heats for a few moments then no longer heats to dry the cloths. An older man came out and I went over the fact the cloths do not dry as the heating element is intermittent, He cleaned out the hose vent from lint, took my $95.00 and said it was fixed and left. Well, it isn't fixed. he did nothing to replace the heating element or whatever is causing it to not stay on. I was ripped off. I have given them a choice to either send someone out who can repair

I have an LG refrigerator that wasn't cooling anything. The technician at Franks told me the part I needed was a compressor that should be covered by warranty. I didn't know anything about what to do and my LG information books told me nothing. Although Frank's was unable to do the work he took the time to explain that I needed to call an authorized LG technician and even gave me a number to call. The refrigerator is now fixed ($800 labor). Lesson learned, I will never buy an LG refrigerator ever again and because if the excellent assistance I received from Franks I will call them

Our refrigerator went out while we were on a mini vacation. It was very upsetting to come home and find it had gone out. We tried calling another repair service only to be told it would be two weeks before they could come out. I found Frank and sons on yelp and decided to give them a call. They did it AGAIN. Outstanding service. Our fridge went out while I was away and they showed up SAME day. Fixed the minor issue on the spot. We had a major repair on that appliance in the past with them so we were worried. Turns out it was an easy fix this time (a fan) You can put all your trust in your repairs with these guys. Easy to schedule an appointment, available the next day, great communication of when repair man was 30 minutes out. The repairman came to troubleshoot our dishwasher. We gave him the error code, he asked if there was any broken glass in there, I said I didn’t know. He diagnosed the issue as the drain pump needed replacing at $400. Because it was so much money, My husband spent 3 minutes on google and after 5 minutes looking around inside, found a small broken piece of a bowl in the drain. He removed it and the dishwasher worked again. The repairman didn’t even look in the drain before diagnosing

Frank did all he could to try to fix the washer I bought used online, but it had too much damage. He did the right thing and told me just to get a new washer because the repairs would cost that much anyway. He was extremely fair and honest, and his team was attentive and great to work with. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!

I had my refrigerator repaired by Frank & Sons last month and I thought the price was slightly high, but went forward with it anyway. It did stop working again a few weeks later, but they came first thing the next day and fixed the problem at no charge. I can say without hesitation that they stand by their work and are worth the money.

We had an issue with our front door ice/water panel not working. On advice from the person I spoke to on the phone he said to try replacing the filter (thinking in my mind how would this fix a problem with a front door panel), I replaced it anyway. I waited about a week and this did not fix the problem.

I needed my refrigerator repaired. Called Frank and Sons, they responded in a timely manner. He diagnosed the problem, came back a few days later and made the repairs. Twice after that I still had issues. They decided that they did everything possible but wasn't able to fix the problem. They promptly refunded my money. I wouldn't hesitate a moment to call in them for any repair!!

I called around first thing this morning for someone to fix my LG washer. The first callback I got( from another appliance repair service), was able to come by at noon. So I took the appointment. The technician was somewhat rude and dismissive. Claimed our issue was wholly a plumbing one and not the washer. I wasn't satisfied. I paid him his "diagnosis" fee and he left. I then called Franks and Sons, and Shak was able to come by this afternoon. Yes, there is a small issue with the hose bib/ valve but ALSO the inlet filter to the washer which he cleaned. This is the kind of business that you will see on Dateline TV in the Consumer Beware section. First off, you call a repair company that has experience so they can fix the problem. In short, their "experienced" technician misdiagnosed a very costly repair. I was suckered into paying 1/2 the cost of a new appliance to repair - Just for them to say, the problem was totally something else and now it's going to cost 1/2+ for them to complete the repair. The troubling thing is they never flinched when asking for 2x more money. They never said, "oops we messed up." Needless

I sent a message to Frank and Sons Appliance in regards to my refrigerator last week and they responded quickly. They were able to squeeze me in within 24 hours. Their repair person came promptly and gave us useful information. Even though we didn't end up having them fix the problem, they diagnosed it and their customer service alone warrants a review. We would not hesitate to use them in the future if there were any appliance problems (hopefully not though hah).

Our Kenmore dryer stopped producing heat. I used the Yelp app to make an appointment. I was given the day and a 2 hour window.
My power control, a $35 part, overheated due to me not cleaning the outside vent often enough. Shak took me outside and showed me exactly what to do to prevent this from happening again. He suggested I clean it often. I will, I said. :-D
Labor costs were $180. Shak gave me a 20% discount. I utilized the $10 for $25 coupon on Yelp. The total was $156.80 + the $10.00 spent on Yelp making the grand total $166.80.
I was very pleased with Shak. He was glad to see me so happy
