Services
Fiberglass is a strong, lightweight material that is constructed by weaving small glass threads into a fabric and hardening the fabric with a special polyester resin. A smooth finish is made by adding weather-resistant gel. Our fiberglass pools are from Latham Pools. While we have access to their entire line of fiberglass pools, we favor their Northeast Program to save on freight costs.
Gunite is essentially the same thing as concrete, the only difference being in the application process. Gunite is applied through a hose using compressed air. This high velocity application ensures the gunite sticks wherever it is applied. In the case of an in-ground pool it is applied over a re-bar frame.
A vinyl liner pool uses a custom made sheet of vinyl between the water and the pool structure. This structure is panels made of galvanized steel or composite. SwimKing offers both materials but favors composite for its flexible strength and, above all, the option of using a salt water filtration systems that is not really viable with steel walls.

I’ve worked with Swimking for 3 years now. Service has definitely fallen off. Although very knowledgeable of their products customer service has taken a turn for the worse. This year I called to schedule a Pool opening and couldn’t get anyone to return phone calls which I ended up doing myself with the help of YouTube. Now for the pool closing I was told mid October and nobody showed up until early November. Had I not called several times to get an update might’ve waited longer. After paying the full amount for winter pool closing I now come to find out the salt cell and water filter wasn’t

They Nswered the phone right away but when I asked about a pool.heater and was asked by the sales person what kind I replied natural gas then they asked me how many BTU I wanted I replied I did not know, I proceeded to let them k ow that I had an above ground 18' round I was told I needed a 250000 BTU heater and the price would run me $2800 closer to $3000, plus I stallion and electrical. I then asked what about 150000 BTU he said it would be around 17000 but he recommends the other for my size pool. I told hi. In spite of the manufacturing delays due to COVID constraints, These guys did an AWESOME job! YES It did take almost 2 months for my pool to be completed BUT ALL was beyond their control! I have to say what is fair is fair as they completed customer pools in these two aspects when parts were available and keeping them in the order in which they were received by sales date and time!
I am looking forward to deal with Swim King for all my pool's needs!

Bought a great pool robot, the Hayward AquaVac 500, 4 years ago. It's really a great robot, cleans the whole pool at the push of a button, never a complaint. I've saved thousands in pool maintenance visits. The best part? When it needs service, as machines will need from time to time, they service it right there on premises, under warranty, no charge, with parts from the manufacturer, in a reasonable time frame. I am a satisfied customer.

I was going to buy a hot tub from them and when the owner wrote out my contract he refused to distinguish which one I was had ordered on the paperwork. He also gave me a receipt that showed no description or product i.d. # as to what I ordered. It only said SPECIAL ORDER, CUSTOM ITEM, and that all special orders were nonrefundable! When I questioned this, I was treated rudely and told that I would be a problem. He said he would not do business with me. I feel like I was going to be taken for a switch and bait. Beware of them! Very poor business practices. A waste of my time.

Purchased our pool from Gary in 2017, who was wonderful. Installation was awesome, team friendly and completed in the timeline promised. While learning maintenance the following year, we called the store with a question. Mike was in the area so he came by to help and even brought the salt we needed. I had swim king install an above ground pool a couple of years ago. They were great to work with from sales to installation. They weren't pushy and have always been there every time I have a question or issue. They are willing to provide advice without making a sale. I'm most impressed with their recent service. I had a pretty new piece of pool equipment that was no longer under warranty, but should not have failed nonetheless. They swapped the equipment for me and said they would deal with the manufacturer about getting it covered under warranty. They really go above and beyond!

Whenever our water is a little off, we can count on Swim King to get it crystal clear. They even know how to work with our finicky salt cell! I have to vehemently disagree with the negative review below. I bought a hot tub from them in 2011, and bring my water in regularly to be tested, I've never had a problem. Installation was flawless, including electric, and I always ask questions and always get a quick and accurate reply. I've never felt an up-sell of any type. Once when a neighbor's tree fell in my yard in the winter and cut off my power, they came up to my house and pumped it for me so it wouldn't freeze (I'm a weekender, it would have been a disaster). After I showed up a little bit after close one
