The owner and president, Rick Ariagno, studied Engineering and Physics as an undergraduate student and completed his M.S. Degree in Industrial Technology. Summers off from college and later summers off from his work as a vocational education teacher were spent working at a variety of engineering and construction related jobs.

HEC Technologies thorough understanding of Building Science principles including heat transfer, air movement, moisture migration, indoor air quality, pressure differentials and mechanical systems allows us to view the building as whole system made of multiple sub systems which all interact. Understanding this concept allows us analyze the whole structure to determine the root cause of the problem.
Most insulation contractors respond to customers complaints about comfort, efficiency etc. by installing more insulation. They often miss the real cause of the problem. As a result the owner is left with an unresolved issue, less than acceptable improvement in comfort and continuing deterioration of building components.

I recently had HEC do an inspection of my homes insulation and upgraded my attic insulation and various other areas to current code requirements. This is the second home I have had them work on one of my homes and I have been very pleased both times. They were prompt, courteous, reasonably priced and paid attention to detail making sure that I was well informed throughout the process. They made a point to ensure I was happy before they left. Special thanks to Tim and Eric for going the extra mile to make sure all my questions were addressed.
