Adding two new shapes for 2019 model year (Celeste and Solara), Mancha Hardscapes Pools & Spas offers 16 rectangle fiberglass pools shapes for our customers in Birmingham, Al. One of the largest rectangle pools we offer which comes with plenty features: tanning ledge, spa, wide steps and two benches.
Shotcrete & Gunite are two different methods for "concrete" pools. The difference is primarily in the mixing of the concrete, but the end result is the same. Both are jetted on to reinforced rebar walls. The term "Gunite" is the more common term and may be used for concrete pools in general. John, Chris and their crews built us a beautiful pool, retaining wall and drainage system. After the March 25th tornadoes and rain, our pool was flooded with mud and John and Chris came out, put in a much better drainage system, sodded our side-yard, fixed our neighbors yards and made things right. Highly recommend Mancha for any project!

We met with Chris in the office to contract Mancha Hardscapes it install an in ground pool. The first meeting was great. Everyone was nice and seemed eager to work. From there it went downhill. We never got any sort of construction timeline to let us know how the process would go. After several weeks we texted Chris to ask how things were going and were told that the guy was coming out next day to dig for the pool. I called Mancha to set up an appointment to come look at some concrete work around my pool. I left work to meet someone to walk over the project to put together a quote and no one showed up. I tried calling to see why no one showed up and it was around lunch time which is why I guess no one answered the phone. A couple of hours later I got a quote emailed to me that was a quote to have my driveway demoed and concreted. I guess they used Google Maps to get my driveway dimension, because at this point I still didn't see anyone show up to go over the pool project with me. I don't know, but the whole

Called and set up an appointment for them to evaluate my property for some serious hardscaping-$30k project. Set up an time for John Mancha to come and give an estimate. Took off a day from work. Waited til noon. Did not show. Called the office-the secretary confirmed he was supposed to be there. She tried to get ahold of him. I gave hime another hour. I called back two more times. Plenty of chances-never heard from him. I told the secretary to forget about it. Then I never got a call with an explanation. I never got a call with an apology. I never got a call asking if they could set up another

We started a pool with another company that did not finish. John Mancha came in and saved our project. Trey led a group that worked quickly and delivered a pool that exceeded our expectations. Well, I should have paid attention to the reviews that said the guy doesn’t even show up to look at a project for an estimate. Unbelievable. Manchas is just around the corner. Wanted to do business with someone local. Didn’t even bother to call me. I had to call them after waiting 30 minutes past appointment time, and John Mancha was in Huntsville. He had no intention of coming. What is wrong with people!

We had Mancha Hardscapes Pools and Spas install our pool, spa and hardscapes several years ago and have absolutely loved our space. John is great and so easy to work with. Recently we had a problem with our pavers and even though it was not related to his work, he returned my call within an hour to help me. We would never choose anyone else to build our pool or outdoor space. Excellent service, quality work!
