Laura is the Chairman of the Board. Dedicated to honoring the generations before her, Laura leads the L.E. Smith team with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement and the Core Values of the L.E. Smith Family. Outside of LES, Laura resides on several Community Boards, teaches Yoga, and dedicates endless love and time to her Husband and Children.

Wonderful company to work with! Great customer service and quality. Have never had an issue with them in the several years we have used them. Notice the majority of the complaints are with tops ordered through Lowes and Home Depot who likely use their own subcontracted template and installation crews. Buy direct or through a professional cabinet company!

I ordered my counter tops through lowes, they hired this place. Save yourself the headache, shop elsewhere. My tops came in and looked good. But they were measured or made wrong, one side has a quarter inch of overhang over my drawers, offering no cover the other side has 3 inches, while all other areas are the normal inch and a quarter. After 2 weeks of phone calls and getting hung up on. My awesome lowes rep called and finally got ahold of a manager, they told her that i signed the waiver and approved their work. I diddnt notice untill they left, and of course the installer failed to point this

NEVER.....EVER....EVER do business with this company. If I could give negative stars I would. It took them 12 weeks to properly cut a LAMINATE countertop to proper measurements and it still needed to be cut on-sight to properly fit. After having the kitchen in various stages of demo, we are going to deal with the other items because we don't want to wait another 3 months. On top of that, they are so bad that Home Depot now refuses to work with them!

I would recommend to Home Depot to do an audit of all their third party vendors they deal with and research into replacing if not improved upon. So far we have had terrible experiences with either the product or install of something we bought from them.
My wife and I paid for measurements to be done for our new kitchen. As other people reviewed, the "professional" came out to measure and when the counter-tops finally were delivered, the measurements were short. Large gap in between our oven and refrigerator. I figured I would try to reach out to customer service since they

We paid Home Depot and for reasons no one can possibly fathom they chose THIS supplier.
The counter tops are two MONTHS late and counting. It's Formica people. We aren't asking you to hone stone off a mountain by goat. FORMICA! Formica with a normal Home Depot edge. Nothing fancy.
We paid for professional measurement. It was wrong. Way wrong. We wouldn't have even been able to use our appliances. The installer just shook his head.

Terrible counter top company. They messed up my custom order counter top 2 times. We called the company to fix the issue and the customer service was not only terrible, they blamed the issue on us. So far it has taken 2 months and still no counter top. This company makes the counter tops for Lowes and Home Depot. We also purchased the "high end" laminate counter tops and the quality is bad. They use a very thin low grade particle board that is not supported around the edges very well, and every top had a bow that had to be corrected. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
