Dollar Plumbing

Dollar Plumbing totally took care of us! Al and Kevin were here within the time slot scheduled, had a solution for our garbage disposal issue, installed a new disposal, and completed the job within a few hours. He was clean and efficient. He will be our plumber from here on out. Next it is time to replace our water heater, and Dollar Plumbing will be doing the work. I highly recommend Al and his young apprentice. Al has been helping me out with plumbing issues on a home that I had just bought. I am on a time crunch because we are in the process of moving in. He has been responsive and quick in action. I trust this mans expertise. He is a honest handworker. Have him do your work!

Made an appointment for in the morning but they never showed during the appointment window. Never called to let me know what was going on. I tried calling them but only got the voice-mail. Save yourself the trouble and money and call someone else.

Arrived quickly, fixed my problem quickly. Everything I could ask for from calling a plumber.

Al arrived quickly, explained everything right up front, proceeded to snake our drain, being thorough and snaking 40 feet out to be sure all was clear in our line. Al was clean cut, friendly, helpful, and obviously enjoys helping people who have plumbing needs. I will call Dollar Plumbing for any future plumbing needs. Thanks Al!

Kitchen sink was backed up and none of the "normal" remedies were working. I followed advice of my fellow Yelpers and called Dollar Plumbing.

I left a message and had a return call within 30 minutes (on a Saturday!) and an offer to come out within the hour. I had to run an errand so asked about afternoon and was given a window from 2-3 pm. Al drove up a few minutes early and then came to the door promptly at 2 pm.

He assessed the situation, gave me an estimate which I agreed to, and then took care of the clog with his roto machine in an hour's time.

Had Dollar Plumbing out today to fix all the issues we found in our plumbing when we had our floor redone. They came out and fixed everything the SAME DAY!!! Clean, professional job. Reasonably priced. Can't say enough good things about the technicians. VERY, VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

They were awesome, informative, and even suggested some cost saving options. They were even able to schedule me for the next day!

These guys do great work and are really friendly and easy to work with. We've used them twice now on various clogged drains, toilet issues, shower problems, etc. Had them over a couple days before Christmas 2020 right during the holiday rush with family to repair toilet problems. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services!

They very quickly unclogged a drain that was shared between two sinks and a dishwasher. Service was fast, friendly, and pretty unobtrusive.
I've used them before for a hot water leak that was, unbeknownst to me, pooling under my house, and that was also pretty painless.
They wore masks throughout service.

After the second time I called them in for some help I wanted to give them a shout out on Yelp.
Al and his assistant are not only good people, they are Local, (Livermore), knowledgeable, affordable and willing to go the extra mile.
The first experience I had they actually worked outside in the rain replacing my main water shut off valve.
Last week was the second time. They re-arranged time for my job around their already busy day.
When I have another plumbing need, I will call Dollar Plumbing. You should too.

Reasonably priced and solid work. Al can over promptly to care care of a clog that went 50ft down a line.

My water heater went bust and I needed to replace it. The morning after, I called Dollar Plumbing and they came out the same day. I had called another plumbing company, but Dollar arrived first and offered a better quote so I went with them.

Dollar started the work immediately after accepting the quote. The job was done in a couple of hours. Quick and easy. We had hot water and haven't had any issues with the heater since.

I'll be calling them for any future plumbing services.

Had a clogged kitchen sink and we tried to clear it out no luck. Called Dollar Plumbing and they set an appointment for us within a few hours.

Worked safely with mask, and booties made us feel better about someone coming to our home. Friendly and efficient, super easy to coordinate and fixed everything with a few pieces of advice for us too!

Dollar has done work for me before and it has been a life-saver, but this time they kind of missed the mark.
The rep who came was very nice and courteous. He evaluated the leak I had dug up prior to his arrival. It was cast iron and while we could see one end, we could not see the other. We could not find a shut-off as well. His evaluation was that the pipe could go on for quite a while and that he would pass on the job.
The next guy that showed up dug for about a foot and found the other connection, cut and capped the pipe and our water was back on!
Dollar can be good - but this time

We had a plumbing emergency. They got to the house 1/2 hour earlier than their estimate. They assessed the trouble and fixed it. They cleaned up after themselves and were gone unless than 2 hours.

Al , Enrique and Will were professional and friendly. We will call them again if we need to. They even gave us a 10% discount!

6/2/2020 update.
Still giving great service. We were replacing our dishwasher and decided to switch out a couple of valves. Dollar plumbing is worth every penny. They made the whole process effortless. Originally we were going to try to replace the valves ourselves
