The owner of Northern Pool & Spa, Peter Paul, began installing swimming pools in 1976 and has been dedicated to providing the highest quality product ever since. Peter started Northern Pool & Spa in Somersworth, NH, and met his future wife Anita who has helped him grow a home-based business into one of the largest swimming pool companies in New England.
Before the excavator is moved on site, we will have a site meeting to finalize the size and location of the pool and pool equipment. The excavation crew will arrive on site to dig the pool. We will need power and water available. In the event that we hit ledge or soil unable to accommodate the pool, buried stumps etc. we will need a phone number where we can reach you to authorize any changes or extra expense.

Whether the project is building a new commercial swimming pool or renovating an existing pool, we provide premium construction quality and sound advice from our years of experience to each and every client.
In order to ensure your pool is sparkling clean for your entire swimming season, we will vacuum your pool, brush the tile, clean the filter and baskets, backwash the system, test and balance the pool with the pool owner's chemicals or chemicals provided from our service vehicle. Includes removing safety cover, reassembling filter systems, heater, chemical feeders, test and balance water with owners chemicals.
Decorative concrete pool decks can offer a variety of different looks and styles to incorporate into your pool project. Exposed aggregate, stamped concrete and other custom finishes can enhance the hardscape element of your pool. Concrete pool decks are the most traditional style of decking and also one of the most cost-effective materials for a pool deck.

Peter Paul the owner runs a great business. From pool design and construction, to customer service years after the build, we have been nothing but pleased. The long term employees working at the store are highly knowledgable, patient, polite, and always helpful. I trust their water analysis- it always matches my test kit. No shenanigans here to make you buy more pool chemicals like other places. I highly recommend this business.

Very positive pool installation experience from A-Z. Ryan, our sales guy, was great to work with: consultative, knowledgeable, very responsive, and followed through on everything he promised. The various crews all worked well to get the job done right, on time, and within budget. Northern works very closely with Triad (hardscape) and Mike Wentworth (electrician)...would also recommend using these subs as they were excellent and very 'dialed in' to Northern's process.

I could not own a pool without these guys! They open and close are pool each year, When we first bought our house they came out and personally showed us how to take care of it and everything that need to be done. They do all our water samples and tell us exactly what to add to the water. Even make sure we have all the chemicals we need. A++ service!
