Doug had done many side jobs in the years prior and decided he had built up enough of a reputation to make a career change. Doug's coach was his father George Davenport who was a dozer operator for most of his working career. George started operating at a young age in the military during World War II.

I own a home in Vermont and was away when a 1000 septic system collapsed. I returned to see a huge hole in the ground and my neighbors said I had a sinkhole but I knew otherwise and I had a problem.
I called several companies for assistance. Out of 5 companies One other company besides Davenport came and I spoke to the other company owner and he said make it easy on yourself and just throw a 300 gallon holding system and cover it up. It’s just the two of you.
So I say what happens in the future if a family buys our home. Not a good way to do business. Wow!

I can't say enough good things about this company...They showed up on time, the price was reasonable and they made a stressful situation a little less stressful! Also, their communication with me was excellent; I could always get in touch with them to answer my questions throughout the process.

I hired Davenport Excavation to install a propane tank on my property and bury a gas line to my house, ethernet cables to my barn, and repair my driveway. The crew showed up right on time along with the owner, and the entire job was completed on time, exactly on schedule. The entire operation was completed in a very timely, professional, and friendly manner. I simply cannot say more nice things about this company. They were wonderful, and their services were affordable!
