We bought our house a year ago and had two large Ash trees that needed a lot of trimming. We had limbs touching power lines, limbs over my neighbor’s truck, and over our kids’ bedroom.
The crew arrived when they said they would and talked with me about the plan and what my needs were.
The guys on the crew were courteous, professional, cautious, and left my front yard even cleaner than they found it! Additionally, their trucks and equipment are well maintained and work well.
They even went the extra mile and cleaned up a small yard waste pile I had in their work area.
As for price, A1 came

I've used A-1 twice, and they are great! The second time, we had several HUGE projects we asked of them - removing a few large trees and clearing an area of manzanita and trimming some very tall eucalyptus. They ended up with a cancellation one morning, so they called me to see if they could come that day. When I explained I wasn't quite ready, they were very gracious and helped me cut a fencing pole that needed to be moved out of the way and were totally understanding about the other stuff that wasn't ready. Their work is efficient and complete. Would definitely recommend, and will use their services

So I believe myself to be fair and i do honest reviews. I called A1 to remove a large oak tree that would need a crane due to power lines , water source and my house. I have a smaller tree by its side . I got a quote for 2 days work cut down trees and leave the wood behind, so simply place cut tree in the pasture . This detail is big. This company aside from taking 30 days to get original quote and the possible removal an addition 3 months out. They had the audacity to quote me 14,600 dollars, yes that's fourteen thousand dollars to cut down 2 trees.

We have a huge tree down in our backyard. They called us back the next day and said they couldn’t get anyone out to look at our job for one month... there was no estimated time for when the work would actually get done. They only get two stars because they called back.

We have been doing business with A1 Tree for many years. We have a large property at River Commons Senior Living with a lot of trees on it. Annually A1 comes out and evaluates needed trimming, treatment and sometimes removal of our trees. We have found them to be a very good company to work with.
During Snowmagedon we sustained a lot of damage to our trees, thankfully mostly on our hillside area and not too much on the grounds. We contacted A1 to get an estimate on the needed work. This is during a time when all tree companies were overrun by the work needed from all the down trees all over Shasta

I had an emergency so i called A-1, i talked with the owner of the company he was very understanding, he told me he was booked solid for the next two months, I explained my situation and with in 1 hour his guys showed up and took out the dangerous tree and while they were there they even made time to grind a old stump i had. His crew was very professional. I will us A-1 tree survice for all my future tree needs
