I talked with Eli on our need when he came out for the free estimate. He was polite, honest, and punctual. After giving what we were looking for, he gave different options to help us decide what is available. He was also good to be professionally open on what to expect in their work, and areas they do not cover. Which is refreshing to help set proper expectations!
We decided to go with them. They measured properly to customize the gate that will fit our side area perfectly.

I called this office hoping to get our iron fence repaired / replaced on our property, unfortunately it did not work out. When I called I was told by the receptionist I would get an itemized estimate unfortunately when Eli arrived he said they could NOT give us a itemized estimate / no breakdown of his charges it was a waste of time for my family member who kindly took time off her busy schedule for this appointment I booked and we were naturally disappointed.

This is a first class operation. From the beginning, Eli, the owner, was very professional, letting us know what would and wouldn't work for a large security gate. He patiently explained how the type of gate we wanted would operate and made good suggestions that we're happy we followed. Our gate has been installed, is beautiful and functions exactly as predicted. His installation crew was friendly and very helpful.

I was hesitant to hire them at first because Eli would not give me references, citing privacy of his clients. For the first time, I relied entirely on their Yelp reviews. I'm glad I hired them! Eli and his workers were very professional. They showed up on time and the quality of the material was top notch. Eli responded and sent back his workers promptly to fix some repair issues I noticed a few days after installation. OC Gates replaced our front entry gate after a wayward driver crashed into our front yard. Eli was the representative who handled our project. He was very communicative, knowledgeable, and would promptly return our calls and emails.
We sought bids from three other companies. Two of which would not come out to our property and insisted on communicating via email; and the final company kept on flaking on us to the point where we gave up on them.

Eli and the OC Gates team is amazing! I hired them to install new wrought iron gates for the front of my house and also new fencing for my front yard deck. The craftsmanship and quality of the fencing is top notch and you really get what you pay for. Excellent customer service - a good company doing high end gates. We had substantial splitting in a wood panel soon after it was installed and Shay responded immediately to my email and they fixed it within 72 hours. This is not a minor investment, so be sure to ask about what is included and what is not (eg, hole repair due to removal of existing infrastructure - I had to fill in several holes with cement myself). Also - be aware that less stain can mean drier/less protected wood and is subject to a higher chance of splitting. We used only one coat of stain for a lighter color, but should have

Love our new gates! We just replaced 5 metal gates installed by the builder many years ago. Eli came out and gave us a great quote and we received our new gates much faster than I thought I would get them. Beautiful black frame with American Walnut stained wood on the inside.
