Services
Kyle Adamson, owner and lighting designer, was raised in Lexington and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduation, he gained valuable experience working for design/build firms in Dallas, Atlanta and Charleston, SC. He returned to Lexington in 2001.
The design aspect of any project is the key to a beautiful result. We want to gather information on the clients wants and needs so we can design a comprehensive plan to provide illumination for their outdoor spaces. Using our knowledge and installation experience, we install high quality lighting systems that provide safety, security and dramatic effects for our clients.

When it comes to home enhancements, rarely do results exceed expectations. However, Kyle's design and installation did just that. The first night our lighting system became operational, my wife and I walked out of our house into the street, turned around, and just smiled! We are thrilled with our outdoor lighting installed by Red Oak Design! Kyle Adamson and his team are friendly, professional and accessible. We were very pleased with the outdoor lighting installed by Red Oak Design. We had a late-night break-in that frightened us and made us realize that lack of outside lighting was a major safety hazard. The willingness of Red Oak Design’s Kyle Adamson to move us up on his list of jobs was greatly appreciated. The lighting suggestions he provided were spot on. A decorative pole light installed near our side steps not only lights the steps, porch and door where the break-in occurred, it also makes it safer getting in and out of our cars at night by lighting the area where we park. Path lights installed
