As a true extrovert and entrepreneur, it was only a matter of time before I turned my passion for design into a business. I started Daley Home in 2017 along side my high school sweetheart, Kasey, and now wear the hats of business owner, designer, and mom to three. Is it obvious I don't like to sit still?
Building a new home is incredibly exciting! You get to build something from scratch, and make it just the way you want. What can be difficult is making sure all the little details come together in just the right way. We often get asked, "When is the best time to hire an interior designer?" If you want your home to feel like every detail has been thought through, then you need an interior designer as a part of your building team.
From the time we complete the consultation to a completed design, is typically 6-8 weeks depending on the size of the project. For larger projects such as new homes, you can expect 10-12 weeks. We like to think of this in two separate areas. 1) construction and 2) furnishings. Construction can take anywhere from a few weeks for a minor remodel to 2 years for a new home depending on the scale of your project.

I would recommend Daley Home + Design. Working with Shelby and Jana was a wonderful experience. Shelby is very creative and talented. She helped me with my entire house, and I couldn't be happier. Shelby worked really well with our contractor too. Everything was very organized with a well laid out plan. He had complete instructions, samples, and ordering information. She would come over to check progress, and was available by phone. We have already recommended her to so many friends.

We hired Daley Home + Design to help us update our home with new flooring, paint, and light fixtures. We also had the kitchen cabinets painted and added a new backsplash and countertop. We are thrilled with the results! It is so much lighter and brighter. I am amazed at how a few simple changes made it feel like a brand new home. I feel that Shelby really took the time to listen to us and helped us achieve a look that was perfect for our family. She was very professional and exceeded our expectations. There is no way we could have taken this project on without her help!

We hired Shelby to design our home office with the hopes of fitting in a guest space and a mudroom. She was able to configure the room so it fit everything we needed and looks amazing!
She met with us and wrote down what we were hoping for and what type of things we liked and disliked. From that she came up with a design. She saw things that we didn't and was able to give us all around a cohesive design. We will for sure be using her in the future for other projects!
