Kitchens are the lifeline of a home. We believe that when possible, a kitchen should be integrated into living spaces such as the dining room or living room. In remodels that can be challenging but usually there is a way to move a wall or open a space that allows people to interact rather than be separated from the rest of their friends and family while cooking.

Much of my career has been spent remodeling coastal homes. This is a challenging environment to work in to say the least. Besides trying to maximize view and the optimize use of square footage you must account for a brutal marine environment. The homes I work on do not leak. We understand that there is wind driven rain water, sea salt and sand to contend with.

I got to spend a little over four months with Corky and his crew and they were amazing. Corky really took to heart our situation with having a newborn as well as my mother living with us and made sure the impact to our lives was as minimal as possible. Corky added an addition to our house including a bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet. He also extended our second story master bathroom and closet and did a full remodeled of the outside of our home including new roof, paint and concrete. We used Corky Campbell, Shamrock Construction, recently to to do a room addition on the 3rd floor in home. It proved to be a more difficult job than expected because of some unanticipated electrical issues. Corky handled them all very well and finished a beautiful job right on time. The new room has become our favorite room in our home. I would recommend Corky to anyone to get quality work done on time. He is a fine fellow and easy to work with.

The owner, Corky, was the friendliest contractor I ever spoke to. He went out of his way to carefully listen to everything I told him on the phone and drove all the way to my house in Malibu to see the work. Although he didn't do the work himself he recommended his tradesmen, who he brought with him, to do the work. And he refused to let me pay him. Glad to know there are still honest people out there!! Thank you!!!

Our experience with Corky was absolutely amazing and in line with all the previous comentors. His attention to detail and adherence to the highest standards of quality far exceeded our expectations. Once the project started it continued straight through to completion with the only interruption being created by us and not him. He is extremely easy to work with and adapts to changes with great understanding. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the project and he was remarkably able to finish on budget as well. We look forward to future projects with Shamrock.

These days, once you go online and request for a proposal, many out of town company, particularly in the valley, descending on you like vultures. I went through that. Once youysigned the contract, you at their mercy (i.e. show up late, never return the phone call, rude). I once have to end up in Ventura court house to settle with their screw up just over a bathroom remodel.

Corky and his crew are over the top. We purchased our home four years ago and engaged Corky in a very difficult project (one of it's kind in Ventura - an elevator-funicular). He surpassed all our expectations and improved the value of our home significantly. More recently like so many we were impacted by the Thomas fire. Although we did not completely lose our home we had significant damage - part of which involved very difficult problems with our deck/main living area. Corky is very trustworthy and thorough. He maintains a very tight and professional circle of tradesmen that clearly respect and respond to him. Corky managed a total interior remodel for me that included a new kitchen, baths, flooring, electrical, drywalling and paint. He also replaced all of our doors.
