Grandview founder, Bill Hazen, started his landscaping career at the age of 13. Using the money from his weekly lawn mowing gig, he purchased his own equipment and quickly became the go-to guy for his whole neighborhood. Throughout his teens, Bill spent countless hours practicing masonry and remodeling techniques in his parent's backyard.
At Grandview Outdoor, we offer landscape design and installation in-house to give our customers the best of both worlds. As your landscape architect, we know the ins and outs of the latest landscaping practices and designs, and we also keep up with New Jersey housing codes for you so that your home is always up to standard.
Grandview Outdoor is proud to have skilled landscape contractors on staff to help you design and install your ideal landscape. We can transform your green space into a place of relaxation and enjoyment. Our landscaping contractors will meet with you for a complimentary consultation to understand your vision for your home.
Having started from the ground up mowing lawns in his neighborhood at the age of 13, Bill has created the foundation for Grandview's growth with his years of hands-on experience. Whether in the office or out in the field, Bill always finds the time to personally meet with the crews on the job every day to share his knowledge and experience.

Grandview Landscape Design Studio in Morristown NJ does excellent hardscape/landscape work, on-time, and at super reasonable prices. I originally looked at Outdoor Digs and Grandview. Outdoor Digs wanted $1000 before doing a site visit (I'm a 4 min drive from their office), and said I would only get 2 revisions to their design at no additional charge. Grandview Landscaping took a much better customer friendly approach. Bill came out to my home at no charge and walked through some initial ideas for a design. Bill and has team at GrandView have done a ton of work in my garden and have done an exceptional job every time. From patio paving, laying sod, planting, building my woodland walk and firepit, drainage and landscape lighting. They have very reasonable rates, high quality of work and Bill and his team are a pleasure to work with. I very much recommend for anyone looking to invest in their backyard oasis!

I contacted Grandview Landscape Design Studio regarding drainage issues. Bill, the owner discussed my problems but was unable to assist me at this time. However, he took the time to explain what I needed and even offered to look over my plans and estimates. I took Bill up on his offer. Amazingly, he went over my plans and estimates and made some recommendations.
Without a doubt, I give Bill and Grandview Landscape 5 stars. Bill went over and beyond for me and showed me that there are still kind, honest and caring people willing to help others with no financial gain.

We had a great experience working with Bill. There was some delay with our material due to the pandemic. He was constantly in contact with me providing updates and keeping us in the loop. As soon as the materials came in his team came to our home that the weekend to work on our front steps and was able to complete the job in a day and a half. We couldn't be happier with the finished product! I highly recommend Grandview.

Third time using Bill to do major yardwork around my house. 2014, 2016 & 2019. Done everything from retaining walls(2'x60' , 3'x60' , 4'x50 w/steps & a 4'x100' w/steps), over 1000 sq. ft. paver patio in rear yard with fire pit, a paver walkway with several curves to front door. In addition they adjusted grading to move water away from house, then added a variety of plants/shrubs/mulch & stone to put the finishing touch to the job. Bill will make sure job is done to perfection and offers excellent ideas to transform your bland old yard and turn it into the place everyone wishes they had. Don't bother
