An entrepreneur at heart, Albert Rodenhouse Sr. started building wooden storm windows in 1939. This was in addition to building new homes and converting and installing electric into homes in the Grand Rapids area. His three sons, Al Jr., Bob, and Ken carried on family tradition of owning and operating many businesses.

All doors are pre-hung with color matches Z-bars that include weatherstripping and an adjustable bottom expander.
Our three-season room can add months to your porch enjoyment. Create a new living space or add windows to an existing screen room. Our custom three-season rooms using our Cranbrook Sliding Porch Window and our 644 & 645 system. These windows are designed to convert your existing porch to a three-season room, using your framing or our 644 & 645 system.

We had originally written a negative review because of a fit issue of the custom front storm door. We had called both the company and the contractor with ideas of how we could resolve the concern but nothing came of those attempts. About a month after we posted the review, Rodenhouse did reach out to resolve the concern. They came and put the door in today and it looks exceptional. We are very happy with the door and fit. We will definitely look to them for any future needs. This easily would have been a five star review had they resolved it when we first reached out instead of after we wrote a

I purchased screen frame extrusions and screen from Rodenhouse in 2013 for a do it yourself project screen porch. The product is high quality and the customer service is second to none. The porch still looks great and was easy to repair the screen when a 4" limb out a holler in one of them. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help.

Rodenhouse made the wrong type of storm windows (double hung instead of single pane). When I brought them back they just blamed me for ordering wrong even though on no paperwork was I given anything with ‘double hung’ on them. I’m out 400+ dollars because they refuse to take any responsibility for this miscommunication and just blame the customer. Really disappointed.
