We hired Act of Class to pack and move us in December 2021 and had a positive experience overall. The movers were on time, courteous, and worked efficiently. We had great service by Preston, Treston, Winston, and the others. The cost was very reasonable and they were flexible with us when we needed to adjust the date. The owner Phil stayed in communication until he knew we were fully satisfied. I recommend Act of Class if you need packing, moving, or storage.

I reached out to Phil at Act of Class Moving & Storage on a Monday afternoon. He responded within a little while as he was at a doctor appointment. I explained our situation: Just moved to Ft. Myers from PA and our moving company left the furniture in our garage and living room without moving it upstairs. I asked if he could provide labor-only to move the 5 pieces of furniture (heavy/awkward) and he said he could have 2 of his team come early the next afternoon. He called the next morning and said his guys could be here by 11:30 and sure enough, Preston & Harold were here right at 11:30. They were

First, let me just say, this is my second move with this company. I was in a severe time crunch having to move out of my old place and Phillip came to my rescue. They were able to squeeze me into their very busy schedule on such short notice. Their team came out to my residence and very carefully moved all of my expensive items with the utmost respect. I couldn’t be happier with hiring Act of Class Moving. They were courteous, fast, efficient, and professional. Phil, the owner, came to my house and did an in-home estimate of the stuff I needed moved. He sent me a final estimate the following day.
On moving day, his crew of three guys arrived promptly at the scheduled time and got to work. I walked them through the house so they knew what was going and what wasn’t. After that, they hit the ground running and started getting stuff moved into their truck.

Update: The "settlement" was not a true settlement at all. The owner sent me way less than I asked for, claiming that he had cancer and couldn't handle a claim against him. He's full of garbage. I got sick of dealing with him. Hire at your own peril, or if you're moving property that you don't care gets damaged.
I have lost my patience with this business. I was doing a cross-country move and the movers DROPPED MY NIGHTSTAND DOWN THE STAIRS AND A LEG BROKE OFF. Apparently, both nightstands were stacked, one on top of the other, and were not secured when they were loaded onto a dolly to be rolled

We had a great experience with Act of Class. Phillip, the owner, is very involved in the process making sure everything gets done. His guys were mostly young and had good sense of humor. Our move was big with two trucks, and Phillip even came to the house to help his guys. Would use them again.
