Tabitha Evans, an Arizona native, award-winning interior designer, has published her first book, "Becoming a Designer of Distinction: What Interior Design School Won't Teach You." The book is an uplifting look at how interior designers can either begin, or positively transform their careers with insight on how to find mentors, gain valuable experience, connect with clients and maintain a positive outlook throughout it all.

The book, which offers guidance for interior design students and seasoned designers alike, provides valuable tips and straightforward advice to help any designer elevate their career to the next level. It also includes a workbook to help designers connect with what inspires, drives and motivates them.

Evans is a celebrated interior designer who works as the Director of Architecture for the South Central Region for Ryan Companies in Texas. She is an interior design instructor at Scottsdale Community College, a past president and current member of the Arizona North Chapter of the American Society of Interior Design and a veteran of the United States Army, where she served for more than six years as a signals intelligence analyst.

There's so much in there that I have tried to instill in every intern, every future designer that's shadowed me, and everyone that's asked me for advice or guidance. There's so much more though that you have really honed in on and have a grasp of that most people don't. This is something that seasoned designers could read every few years as a refresh.

Nothing but positive for this wonderful and talented designer. She really listens and understands and goes above and beyond. I had a monumental task for a multi family property and the work needed to be done within a week, including a major remodel in one of the units. Because of Tabitha's Extensive network of reliable and talented people, and Tabitha's excellent communication and organizational skills,the project was a success!
