In 1975, Van Kirk & Sons were founded with one core purpose: to build the best custom pools in South Florida. To accomplish this goal, Van Kirk & Sons hired the friendliest, hardest working staff, and most innovative designers in the industry. Evolution is defined as the gradual development of something from simple to a more complex form. In 1975 Van Kirk & Sons Inc. was founded and from that moment on, what was a mom and pop small business has evolved into a third generational national award-winning company full of Van Kirk family members as well as team members, some of which have been here for over 20 or 30 years.
Our philosophy today is the same as it was then, over 40 years ago: "Build each pool as if it were going in your own backyard, and treat each customer like family." And that philosophy has helped us become the clear South Florida leader in both residential and commercial pool & spa construction, remodeling, manufacturing, and repairs.

Update 11-16-21 - It has been over a month since I posted this review and let Van Kirk know who I am since they claimed they don't l know which customer posted this review, and I have heard nothing. Another example of their fine customer service.
I hesitated to post this review because I wanted to work with Van Kirk & Sons to resolve the ongoing issues with the pool and spa that they designed and installed less than 4 years ago; however, they have ignored my emails and my most recent letter sent to them via USPS on August 11, 2021.

Kevin Designed our backyard and the process couldn't have been easier and more pleasant. They are very competitively priced and went above and beyond. We passed all the inspections the first time without any issues. Golan the project manager is amazing and a great asset to the company. He's always available and easily fixes any issues that occur throughout the process. Van kirk was truly reliable and a pleasure to work with.

I couldn't be happier with my newly installed Van Kirk & Sons pool in my backyard. What a great experience working with their entire crew. During the Construction Phase of our pool, Van Kirk & Son Pools & Spas assigned Golan to serve as the Project Manager. Golan was on site at each key moment of our pool and spas' civil works construction and ensure all of the works were performed to upmost quality standards throughout approximately two months of an intense and rigorous schedule. There were several other pool manufacturers building pools in our community. Compared to the others, Van Kirk was the most efficient and kept the construction area relatively clean. Other pool builders were still working on several neighbors' pools by the time we got our final inspection even though they started their projects before we did. Matt, Samantha, and Denise were helpful during the pool building process, and I spent a lot of time working with Golan.
