Heritage Hardwood Flooring was started in Idaho in 2017. Daniel Wallis, Owner and Operator of Heritage Hardwood is a second generation hardwood flooring professional. Having an apprenticeship under his father, starting at the age of 18, Daniel learned the ins-and-outs of the custom hardwood floor industry.

Daniel and crew did a refinish job on my hardwood floors that had badly cracked and separated due to a bad installation job from a different company. He was timely, true to his estimate, communicated right away whenever I had questions, and the end product looks amazing. He was able to make it look seamless and matched the original color perfectly. 5/5 Recommend.

We are thrilled with the outcome of our new floors. Heritage hardwood refinished our existing hardwood and matched new hardwood to extend into our living space which was once carpet. It looks seamless as if this is how it was always meant to be. We had the wood flooring on our main level refinished and added new wood flooring into our living room. I was a bit nervous that I would tell the difference between the old and new wood. Our refinished and new wood flooring looks fantastic, and I am so happy with the finished results. Heritage Hardwood Flooring was responsive, easy to work with, and did a tremendous job. We had Heritage Hardwood refinish our maple floors and we are extremely happy with the way they turned out. Their price was a little better than the other companies that gave us quotes, the quality of the work was great, and they finished a day earlier than we expected. We would definitely recommend them for floor refinishing projects.

A BIG THANK YOU to Daniel and his team for a job well done. We had some damage to our hardwood floors due to a leaky dishwasher and Daniel came in for an estimate. While he was there, we asked him about extending the hardwood to other areas. He provided a fast and accurate estimate. When it came time for the project to start his team was very efficient and clean. The dust was minimal for such a large project and the results are beautiful. We went with a hand scraped look on walnut floors.

What a great experience we have had with Daniel at Heritage. We are so pleased with the outcome of our refinished floors. They are beautiful and better than new. He was very punctual and respectful. His work was exceptional and you could tell that he take great pride in his work. After a terrible experience with another local company just 4 months earlier we were happy to know he was willing to come in and redo our floors to our satisfaction. Daniel is a talented man and worked his butt off so we would love our floors. I would recommend him to anyone and trust he will do the best job around.

Daniel was very responsive to our quote request! He is professional and honest and did a great job on refinishing our floors! He was well prepared and very careful with our new carpet which was installed first.
He left the house clean and really took the time to make sure every corner of our floor was completely refinished and looking good. He was punctual and true to his bid and time schedule. Very appreciated!
