Broken Blinds

Sam responded within hours of my contacts, came by that day and fixed my blind. We also noticed a defect and one of my other Hunter Douglas blinds and is working on getting me a replacement free of charge!

Sam was referred my a local blind store. I called and he gave me an estimate of replacing the cords and putting a plastic pull on 10 blinds at $ 55.00 per blind. When he came he didn't seem to remember what we needed and said he had to order the pulls. He left. He called a few weeks later to say he had the pulls. He came over put a new pull on all blinds. He only replaced the cords on one of blinds even though I had told him I wanted to replace all because they were twenty years old and thought they might break. He then charged me $ 55.00 per every blind even for the ones he did not replace

If you can't fix it yourself and want an expert, that comes out to your house or business, then Sam at Broken Blinds is the guy to call. He called three times when he was delayed at another client. Then, when he showed up, he was professional, fast and helpful. He even went so far as to explain how to make small adjustments, etc. Great guy and a great help.

We have used Sam twice in the years since we have lived in our house and each time we are always pleased with his service. He repairs our Hunter Douglas shades back to working order and gets it done quickly. The last repair was done during COVID- he did wear a mask while in my home and did most of the repair in his truck. We cannot recommend him enough and would not hesitate to use him again.

Sam wasn't able help me with my problem because it wasn't a type of blinds he works on, but he took the time to promptly return my call and offer suggestions on possible fixes I could explore. Really appreciate that! Not many businesses take the time to return calls when it's regarding something they don't work on. If I have another problem they can help with, I would not hesitate to call them again.

Sam at Broken Blinds helped us recently with a large, heavy Hunter Douglas blind that wouldn't open and close properly. He made the initial repairs, but the replacement parts didn't work properly and the problem quickly occurred again. (To be clear, this was NOT his fault.). Sam is amazing!! I have a large Hunter Douglas shade for my slider that wasn't properly installed or taken care of by previous owner. Sam came out and thankfully able to fix everything wrong with it. He saved us $2000k. He is very passionate and knowledgeable. Definitely call him before replacing any window coverings that are broken.

Sam is the man! Repaired and re hung two key Hunter Douglas shades quickly! I asked him to take a look at the pull chords for two other HD wood shades which he also showed us how to fix! Professional,prompt and reasonable. Put his number in your phone! At some point you will need him or someone you know will! A while back Sam helped us with a broken motorized roller shade. He made the process of getting it shipped out to Hunter Douglas seamless and we got it back in no time. This time around, we had a broken

I had three broken Hunter Douglas duette blinds and needed them repaired. These blinds were over 20 years old. Sam was a gem! He answered my call quickly. He arrived on time and did the job. Not only did he restring my blinds but he also replaced several mechanisms with genuine Hunter Douglas parts. Sam was very efficient, professional and helpful. Hunter Douglas is the worst shade product anyone can purchase. Beware they are over priced and do not stand by there product, customer service is the worst. I purchased 16 window cover paid close to 8000.00 in 2013 and they are falling apart . When I tried to get customer service to help it was a joke they tried to pond me off on an Anaheim blind man who charge an arm and a leg per shade to come out. In the end of the day they did nothing to stand behind this crap product and I am sad to have to post this but I don't want anyone else to buy a product that is poorly made and has bad customer
