We called twice to get Ed’s out for a clogged sewer drain and to pump our septic tank. I made it very clear that the clog was leaving us unable to use water in our home. The lady I spoke to (sorry don’t remember her name) assured me he had a power snake and camera and could help us. Well Paul showed up pumped our tank and we told him about the clog he said he didn’t have a snake or camera with him. So we were in the same predicament as when he arrived. We had to call another service the next day to unclog the pipe. He was very crabby and we would never call Ed’s again.

Overall Service was great... Showed up when they said they would and took maybe 20minutes or so to clean my septic tank.
But, we had cash on hand for payment and driver refused to accept it. Then they didn't bill us until 2 months later, the bill was lost, found it months after it was sent. At the time of service we had our tax returns and once i found the bill funds were tight. I wrote a check for 60% of the total amount owed for partial payment. But its now 2 weeks after i sent the check and still haven't bothered to cash it.
I'm not sure if theyre hoping to cash as late as possible to get

I have used Ed's septic before when Clyde as the owner. Great service THEN!
Called for a septic alarm... got a quote at my front door for the repair (float replaced) and a pump for @ $700. Got the first bill for $695. Had mentioned that there was a place where roots were coming in.
Worker showed up the next day to take care of the roots and put a filler in so they would not come back.
Called a couple of days later, because the alarm was going off again. They showed up and REPLACED THE FLOAT AGAIN. A couple of days later I GET ANOTHER BILL. 1.5 hours labor and $85 for another float... apparently

I called on Saturday and spoke with a women on the phone and was asking questions to determine if our sewer tank was full or if the drain was clogged and if he had a snake, she said no they dig up the area if it’s clogged which I thought how do that do that if it’s under the house. She said the truck was in Clatskanie and I would be the next call. In the mean time I spoke with the previous home owner who said the septic had been pumped several times the last one several years ago. Also the drains had not been draining slow or backing up. I explained this to Paul who said he was by the pool

Had a blockage in our septic system on Christmas Eve. It turns out the previous owner didn't pump the septic when we bought the place. Called Eds the day after Christmas. Eds came out two hours after I called them, pumped our system. He worked hard to find and remove the blockage we had in our house from the backup. We had to get a plumber for that and he gave a good recommendation. He also pumped a second system we have off our barn.
