We've had the most amazing experience w our weekly service from Hawkins. They built our pool years ago (we bought the house w the pool already in) and take impeccable care of it.
Alex, our current tech, on it! He keeps the pool crystal clear, operating smoothly, and up to date w all yearly maintenance. He's here every week, on time, friendly, competent, communicative, and approaches his job w passion. It's awesome to see. Completely stress free for us.
And prior to Alex, was Gus, who clearly trained Alex bc he's just like Gus - who, quite deservedly, was promoted to

When asked on Next Door I have always recommended Hawkins as a weekly pool service. I felt a need to give a shout out to Hawkins. After our last big Storm in October My pool looked like a swamp. The very next morning I see a text from Joe. He said- I know how many trees you have above your pool and I imagine it is in need of servicing.
Sure enough when I returned home from work , my pool was once again blue. The customer service is top notch. A very classy company. They have helped me so many times over the past few years- this review is well overdue

Almost 3 years ago when we moved to East Bay , I had no idea about Pools and it's maintenance.
I consider myself lucky that I called Hawkins Pools to send someone to consult on Pool care and service. Joe came to our house and I was genuinely impressed with the way I was explained about the entire equipment ( who knew there are two pumps and four filters etc etc :) ). Joe took the time to patiently answer all my questions and I thought was talking to a small business owner rather than the Pool Route Manager.

After we built our pool ( spa, firepit, pavilion, hardscape and softscape) with Hawkins
( see my other Yelp review for that, THE BEST in the business!) we started using their service side for pool maintenance. They are BEYOND exceptional. Our pool has never had any issues, our pool rep Joe is EXCEPTIONAL. Responsive, funny, great attitude and works hard to get ahead of anything he sees. He is proactive and keeps our pool sparkling, even the kids notice how clear and beautiful it is. We think so highly of their business that our entire court moved over to Joe, they are all paying less and receiving

I was looking for pool care and got in contact with Hawkins Pools Service, i was really happy with all the help i received from Joe the service manager, i started service right away! and my pool has never looked as good as it does now! they are on top of it and makes me happy i have a pool company i can trust!

Hawkins Pools built our backyard pool in 1989, a beautiful, well-designed and quality pool, one that has been remarkably free of problems ever since--other than routine maintenance. This past summer, after 31 years of pool enjoyment, we felt it was time to refurbish our pool, including a new pebble finish, new tile, new pump, and some coping repairs. Given our excellent previous experience with Hawkins and their generally completive bid, they got the nod, failing to heed the warning flag that the owner who built our pool had since sold it to someone else. We regret our selection decision.

Had a meeting scheduled with Hawkins to evaluate a major repair of our pool. We had scheduled for Thursday, but they showed up on Tuesday.
It took us 8 minutes to get our kids settled and to come outside. When I stepped outside, the consultant was pulling out of our driveway and leaving.
As he pulled away with me trying to waive him down, he called me to let me know that he doesn't have the time to wait around. 8 minutes?! For a $15k project. Business must be really great.
I've never seen anything like this and would avoid anyone who shows such poor character.

I can't say enough about this company, in an industry with sketchy operators. Hawkins designed our pool 4 years ago. It is exactly what we wanted. The equipment and pool cover are the highest quality. A week ago I notified them that the remote controller on the side of the hot tub wasn't working. It was repaired a week later. I had similar speed with a pool light that was out and with the pool sweep. Brent, their service manager, responds to emails and phone messages almost immediately. I highly recommend Hawkins Pools and their Service department. Jane, Lafayette
