Sander Architects, LLC based in Los Angeles, CA specializes in high-design contemporary architecture that uses a hybrid of prefab and standard techniques and technologies. The combination, along with careful design, allows the studio to keep each architecture project budget as efficient as possible.
The resulting work has been recognized with both national and international awards and is published widely. Other speakers include Steven Ehrlich, Anthony Poon and Gehry Partners. Sander Architects has just come through our busiest summer ever. With 8 projects in construction, totalling over $57 MM in hard costs, and 6 more in design, we have barely had time to work on our tans.
New Hire, Clarissa Pluta joins the Sander Architects studio. A graduate of UCLA, she brings a particular interest in Community Design as it has the ability to intersect with architecture and potentially produce innovative solutions for affordability and issues of homelessness.

Services
This is a new type of construction that we have developed, using a prefabricated metal frame, skin and roof. We have achieved unprecedented economies by using prefabricated building (warehouse) fabricators to manufacture the most expensive parts of the building at a fraction of the normal costs. Long before prefab became the buzz of modernist architecture, Whitney Sander was realizing the sort of savings that today's prefab producers dream about.
