Last spring we installed a ductless SpacePak air conditioning unit in our 90-year-old Whitefish Bay home. We had a few quotes from Milwaukee companies and chose Nimmer because of their attention to detail, responsiveness, and thoroughness. From the very beginning stages (during the initial consultation walkthrough in January 2021) I had a great feeling about Nimmer. And now, a year later, I can still say that great feeling was indeed accurate!

Received opinions and bids from 4 different contractors for installation of Unico A/C system, regarding best number of new air supply ducts, to proper sizing, to type of compressor. Also did my own research and felt fairly knowledgeable. The bids and opinions differed regarding how to make system the most efficient, cost effective, and most importantly, the most comfortable. The Air Conditioner at my Mother's home sustained some damage from ice falling off the roof. Everyone we interfaced with at Nimmer was friendly and helped explain options. In the end, my mother was prepared to buy a brand new AC and Nimmer actually recommended that her unit get a few repairs and would be fully functional... They saved us money and did not oversell. The AC works great now. It is not everyday that you find a service organization that exhibits this level of honest integrity. My family will never go anywhere other than Nimmer for service because of this.

My air conditioning broke on the hottest day of the year. I have two individuals that are elderly and
are on oxygen. They came out on the weekend and by Tuesday a new air conditioning was installed. My new central air cost me $6,000 plus dollars. They were friendly and understood the predicament I was in. I would definitely hire them again.

During spring 2020 Nimmer replaced our a/c and furnace (rerouting the venting from our chimney out the side of our house), installed additional ducts/vents to our 2nd floor, and installed a bathroom fan in our brick 1927 house. Outstanding customer service and every person I worked with was genuinely a pleasure to speak to. Special thanks to Tyler, Beth, and Mac for going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and timeline. We purchased a Bryant furnace from Nimmer about 8 years ago. The furnace has worked well, and the service from Nimmer is exceptional (and I rarely use the word "exceptional" in a review of anything). One of their staff was out to our home yesterday. He gave the furnace a thorough inspection, cleaning, answered our questions, and throughout the visit asked if we had questions for him. If you're looking for a new furnace or a check before Wisconsin winter hits full force, we recommend Nimmer.

Four other highly rated companies pretty much didn't want to touch our 40-year old system. Nimmer had our A/C back on in 30 minutes. The office people I spoke to were wonderful and so was the technician who arrived only minutes after I called. What else can I say except Nimmer is MY company for HVAC. Totally satisfied.

I wasted money paying for the tech to come here and diagnose my unit as needing refrigerant (which I already knew) because Nimmer charges a whopping $300 a pound for R-22! I needed two pounds. Then I found out other companies charge MUCH lower ($80). I called Nimmer first because a friend recommended them, but she is rich. Guess I should do my own homework. ☹️

I recently had a mid-winter furnace disaster and was desperate for a reputable company that could come install a new furnace immediately. I called up Nimmer fairly late in the evening (around 6pm) and was expecting to leave a voicemail. I was surprised that an after-hours line was available. The woman I spoke to was very kind and helpful. She assured me that a technician would call me within the hour. Sure enough, I was able to speak to a tech that evening who told me that I could have a new furnace installed within 48 hours. Two days later, I had a new furnace up and running!
